Also about the AP code:
Can we gift a subliminal that we've used, gotten good results from and plan not to use again in the future?
I'm assuming no because of an uneven exchange of value.
And I pirated AOSI v1 after purchasing DMSI. It has since been deleted and the legitimate v1 offered on the site was downloaded. Would that trigger AP code?

I think you posted something about automatic detection and rejection of those with STIs but you were wondering about how to prevent rejecting those that might have HPV that didn't cause warts.
"Automatically detect, avoid, and reject sexual opportunities with those who have a contagious disease or transmittable organism that would negatively impact the health, well-being, appearance, or body of the user"
Dang, that's harsh - if a person has the common cold, no sex?
Exactly. How do I exclude all STIs except the non-deadly, non-problem causing and non-wart causing strains of HPV that are commonly passed around that 80+% of the population has or has had?
It's not such a simple job I have now, is it.

Not a lawyer, don't know. I suspect they can change too. Do the AP statements refer to "law" or "illegal"?
(11-30-2016, 03:41 AM)Shannon Wrote: [ -> ]Giving it as a gift is not illegal. But buying one copy and retaining copies for yourself and someone else breaks copyright law. One purchase, one owner.
In News, you wrote: "To that end, I suggest that you first and foremost should specifically never pirate my subliminals, or illegally have, own, share, copy, give away, profit from or use them. Save yourself the hassle and worry."
Sure, I will delete my local files. They were there for the purpose of transferring them to her anyway, and now that's done. However, the files are still easily accessible to me through my IML account, so I in my mind I consider that I have them anyway in that storage. Will that be enough to make the AP statements malicious towards me, or is this clearly a non-issue with the current phrasing?
I did look for some sort of option to "Buy as a gift", where I would pay for it with my account, and the system would then send her an email with the links to get the files. If it was there, then I missed it. Wanted to do the purchase for her to make sure it got done, and she didn't start hesitating.
If you have purchased them for her, and have given her what you downloaded, having access to them on your IML account but not downloading or using them is sufficient to remain legal and reasonable.
It is also an option to sit with her and have her create an account, and then have Ben transfer that from your account to her account. We are working on gift certificates, I actually thought we had them...
(11-30-2016, 10:26 AM)AriGold Wrote: [ -> ]LionKing has a great suggestion.
Not only "buying a gift card", but also the ability to buy it and let the links be sent to the other person without us having the access to that link. Might be a bit difficult to implement into the shop, but more easy for i.e. older people or people that are not used to reading that much in english.
I remember at one point we had GCs, don't know if we still do... I'll have to look. But sending the links to the other person is not something I am sure we can do.
We will find a solution.

(11-30-2016, 03:47 AM)Ivaylo Wrote: [ -> ]- I bought a copy of E2 for my mother, she stores it on a PC that my father also uses occasionally. (not to play subliminals)
- The sub itself is played on a stereo system in the living room 24/7, so my father does get exposed daily, including when my mom isn't home. (otherwise she would definitely forget to turn on the stereo system every time she gets home)
Any of that breaking AP code, Shannon? Thanks! Looking forward to DMSI V3.
#1 is within fair use legally, as far as I know. He just cannot use the subliminals unless he purchased a copy for himself.
#2 Exposing your father while your mother is using the sub is also fair use legally.
You're fine as long as he doesn't directly use, by himself, any subliminal he didn't own. Your mother would own the subs you gave her.

Yes, you can, as long as you delete all copies you have when you do it. If that copy was paid for, then the exchange of agreed upon value has taken place for that one copy.

No, you deleted it.

Is this already included in DMSI, or in the plans. I remember reading something in SM that has STI related rejection.
I do remember, going though school they show you all the pictures of STIs to get you to fear the. It does deafeningly works on some people. I personally trust in condoms, but there is a slight part that still fears STIs.
This fear could stop some people from achieving the goal of DMSI.
(11-30-2016, 04:53 PM)yeah! Wrote: [ -> ]I have two questions related to AP code.
I bought a copy of AOSI on opening day to use with AM. I used it according to directions, not within 4 hours of using another 5g sub and 2 loops.
That night I experienced the worst resistance I can remember. Meltdown. I wrote to the shop requesting either refund or store credit but both were not accepted. I then thought I would give it to someone I know well.
I believe that the first mention of it not being available for refund as it is experimental was made on DMSI 2.1 because I noticed it to be different. I understand that I would not be technically elligable under normal cirumstances due to refund policy.
If I gave this to someone I know well after using for 2 loops would this trigger AP code?
It would not be elligible for a refund regardless because it was not used according to the directions.
Giving it away and erasing all of the copies you had, will not trigger it. But, you now have to have them give it back (and delete all copies), or re-purchase it, to use it.
Quote:The other thing is I have all the subs for my family on my hard drive in a sub folder. I am like the keeper of records and sub advisor and all purchases are made through my account. I know how many copies and whos copies they are. For example I have 4 copies of E2 and they are for my sons and my mother and I but if my partner was ever to run it I would need to buy another copy.
Is this scenario acceptable or should I find another way to do things?
Regards.
If anyone uses a copy of a sub, directly uses and not incidentally is exposed to, that they did not purchase or otherwise legally own, they are breaking copyright law as far as I know.
But you all choosing to store your legal copies on a single computer is not illegal in the slightest.
All I'm asking is that you follow your local copyright laws.

This is one of the things I did not have time to add to 3.0.1. It will be in 3.1
Hi Shannon,
I see V3.0.1-A is uploading? Wonderful, we will have it soon, very exciting.
I'm thinking of getting Stop Smoking for a friend who needs to quit and wants to badly. But, I had to ask, I remember you saying that program needs to be rebuild and you seemed to be unsatisfied with it. Is that accurate? Is it working well or are you feeling it needs work still?

Stop Smoking is currently in a single stage format. Originally it was a six stage format.
Six stage format worked because it stepped you up gradually. But nobody wanted to buy it because it was $500 a copy.
When I rebuilt it, it was a single stage, for $89.95, but trying to do all that at once isn't working anywhere near as well as before.
Anything is better than nothing, especially if they use it 6 months straight. It still works for some. But it's better in 6 stage format. That's what I have to re-build. That and the latest technological wizardry.
I hope I can run V3.0.01A tmw or earlier c:

You're welcome to run it yesterday, but earlier than that is out of the question.
Well that's far too unfortunate. Is tomorrow at least certain, or is it likely to be this Friday?
