Don't get me wrong, Apple hardware and tech is very, very good. They're just pulling stupid corporate crap to force their customers to do things their way. I happen to disagree with it. So... Did you know that PlayStation gaming consoles are running FreeBSD under the hood? I couldn't make up my mind on PS4 vs XBox 1 until I heard that. Now I just have to muster up enough give-a-shit to actually buy one. I can't seem to get that far. Who has time for gaming, when you're developing this technology I'm developing?

If you do ever get the time, I vote for PS4! Sony has always been about quality. My PS1 still works to this day. My dad's Xbox 360 Elite got red ring of death within a year back when it first came out.

There's an interesting hacker show called mr. Robot. They referred to Linux being ideal for writing code as well.

So buying a ps4 would be right? I'm trying to muster a give a shit as well

I was wondering if the current 6 stagers could turn into 6G 3 stagers due to how much info can be put in each track. But if transformations would be stronger with the 6 stage format in 6G, then it should stay that way.

It's not so much how few stages can I do it in, it's how small a step can you guys handle? The fewer the stages, the bigger the steps. It may be better to stay with 6 stages, and improve the tech to get all of the expected results, instead of trying to make it fewer stages too and increase the size of the steps.

I was the biggest Apple fan a few years ago. Slowly but surely, Apple lost their way after Jobs died. Some of the decisions they've made... Jobs would've never allowed. That nonsense about the iPhone bending? Are you kidding me?

Cool. I first had to make an appointment and wait a week to go in. I get it, they're busy. So I drive the hour to the Apple store, ready to get my phone fixed. What happens? They tell me that they can't fix the phone because it's bent. I was like, this phone has been in a case since the day I bought it, and it didn't fall from that far of a height, it just landed on the screen. According to them, they use a machine to pull off and fix the screens, and if the machine determines that it's too bent, they won't fix it.

I'm like, htf does a phone bend?! They said that it was a design flaw in the iPhone 6 and that it bends very easily if you put it in your back pocket. He says the phone is one month out of warranty, and since I don't have Applecare, I don't qualify for a free exchange.

My only option at this point is to buy a refurb at $350. At this point, I'm fuming. I'm like, let me get this straight: You built a phone with a ridiculous design flaw that prevents you from putting it in your pocket, and if that design flaw manifests, you can no longer make the #1 repair for these phones? And my only option is to buy another flawed phone?

The guy stares at me blankly and just mumbles 'yea.' He then asks me what I'm going to do next. I walked across the street to Best Buy and bought a Moto G and I'm never looking back. Jobs would've lost his damn mind if they let something like that get out.

Also got rid of my Macbook, refused to buy a new one when I realized that they were still using 2-3 year old processors and charging a premium for it. I'm now on a custom Windows 10 machine. The only thing I miss is Logic Pro X for music production. Logic Pro X is pretty badass, but I'm learning Sonar now.

Shannon, quick question. I'm trying to decide for the next stage of BASE if to listen to the mp3 or the flac file. I am currently listening to BASE from a bluetooth speaker using the trickling stream mp3. Would you recommend the flac over the mp3 or is there no difference?

Let's see. XBox is a Microsoft product, and Microsoft products inevitably give me problems. I have to deal with lockups on my XBox 360 more than once per gaming session. Solution: Power of, power on, log in, start up again, and resume from last saved game. If I wasn't playing Skyrim, aond only a few hours a month, this would be totally unacceptable.

XBox 1 runs Windows 10.

PS4 runs FreeBSD.

Hmmm. That was a difficult choice. lol

But most of the time, I have better things to do than play games. I really only enjoy the Elder Scrolls series. I have played them to death. Current character is level 95 in Skyrim, and can kill even Legendary dragons with a single hit without them ever knowing I was even there. Even in a face to face fight, they usually don't get a chance to do much beyond shout once and they're dead. Makes me wonder why Dragons in Skyrim value their lives so little.

But I'd rather be out socializing, doing perfumery, developing new tech, doing photography, making money and enjoying the company of the ladies.

Hmmm, I guess I'm out of the loop. I hadn't heard about things like that concerning Apple's hardware quality. I do know that a lot of Apple fans are walking away, from what I can see.

Consumers these days are not stupid and they're not going to put up with stuff like that. Sadly, I think Apple's going to self destruct because they don't have anyone with vision at the helm anymore. Then again... I think the same of Microsoft. Leaving us Linux to fill the void. If there is ever one distro that actually makes sense to use for that, and has the common sense. And don't tell me anything based on Ubuntu is the answer. Canonical has been screwing up for years in that direction. It's Linux for Windows Stockholm syndrome sufferers.

FLAC has a slightly higher audio clarity for the subliminal audio. If there was no difference, I would not take the time to make, test, hash and upload it.

I'd be keen for a 'get ripped' program more for bodybuilders/gym people where I lose fat and get ripped while maintaining muscle. At this point I don't think the weight loss program is suited for my goal since it has measurement specifications inbuilt and I want to get more muscular.

And to be able to maintain the being ripped. I don't care about crazy ripped like bodybuilding competition level but if I could maintain something like 12% bodyfat it'd be cool.

Chaos, you're bang on about Apple. I'm a huge fanboy of their iPods for my subs, and iPhones. But for me, since Jobs died, Cook has been a joke. It's abundantly clear, he just rode Job's coat tails to power.

These visionaries are serious difference makers. Randoms coming in after to take up the reigns, are always disappointing. I don't know if it's them being so subpar, or the visionaries being so brilliant, or both. But the effect to both companies has been noticeable.

I have thought about that one. It hasn't had much feedback, and no feedback from anyone who would be using it to help with putting on muscle unfortunately.

It's not high on my list as other programs are more important and i'll keep going to the gym and everything anyway and still make progress.

And fucking apple, I hate it too.. how much they've locked things up. My old ipod lasted 10+ years and like a year or two ago I got a new one and all of a sudden in itunes now you can't just 'drag and drop'. I found a solution with another program but it makes me hate apple, along with if you sync things it deletes stuff. They don't make it simple anymore.

Though in saying that, if there was a full on bodybuilding program in 5.5g or even 5g i'd be really struggling to do E2 next even more than I am with AOSI around.

I definately am doing E2 next. Using a program for the gym goes in the same bag as AOSI as in "it would be cool and good to build an even more muscular body, but it's really just sidelining what I really need to do".
