I'm not talking about you specifically, though. It's just sometimes I feel like it is impossible to please people. That there will never be a "Yes, this is finally universally good enough." Decades of R&D and yet no matter what, I still have people complaining. I guess I will just have to come to terms with the fact that you cannot please everyone all of the time. Or at all, it would seem.
I often hear the 80 / 20 rule as applied in business. Like 80% of profits come from 20% of actual work, or even concerning such things as customer satisfaction. I've personally found from four different businesses online that it's more like 90 / 10 for me. 90% of profit comes from 10% of work, but that has also applied to customer satisfaction.
In a way i feel like it applies to your work as well. I privately feel like other subliminal sellers probably get like 50% or less customer satisfaction (as in actual conscious realization of effects), so 90+% customer satisfaction would actually be pretty astounding. But you said that one key phrase just now which is not business friendly, and that's wanting your subs to be "universally" good for everyone who uses them. I just don't think that's possible.
BUT, I do realistically believe that even if 80 - 90% of the people who use them will consciously realize their effects IF they are in a position for that to happen. With that said, it's literally out of your hands in many of those cases of 10+% of people who can't get the stuff to work. I really don't think it's the sub that failed, but far more likely that they're not in a position to fully experience that particular sub at that time. Call it horrible timing or whatever, but for some reason it just wasn't for them.
Universal satisfaction is a nice idea, but horribly difficult to achieve. It's almost nonsensical because you're trying to please everyone (which i get) but it's just not going to happen literally due to factors that are outside of your control. I call the timing of being introduced to your subs "cosmic timing" because I REALLY could have used them years ago, but somehow it just wasn't the time. I am part of the 90%, or whatever the stat is, of people who greatly enjoy your work.
Bottom line: don't get put off too much by those who you just can't please. That will always happen for every business ever. Pushing yourself to create better and crazier products / technologies is one thing, but don't let the naysayers put you off.

But, regardless, I have to keep doing. There is no other option. This is what I came here for, and this is the contract I have to fulfill.
I don't know who you all are referring to, but to clear up what I meant on the post was that it's hard to believe that after all these years something like E2 could clear all this internal shit up. I've made the mistake of clinging to the hope of getting better too much in the past and it doesn't feel right to do it again. No offence to you or any of your products by the way, they do work (although sometimes I can't believe it for some reason), just it seems to vary from person to person with which speed it works.

Well, there won't. Because life is progress and growth. "He who isn't busy being born is busy dying" as Bob Dylan said. So I think it's only natural for people to want things better and better.
As for the complaining, well, that's only natural too I'm afraid
But it shouldn't reflect upon you any. Anyone who's complaining is doing so for their own reasons. I'm talking about needless complaining of course, not constructive criticism.
But, for me, this sums it up perfectly:

I think your drive and commitment to keep pushing what's possible is all that's needed. I don't think there is a universally good enough. I think most people subconsciously expect things to be perfect. But nothing has ever reached perfection in the history of the world. You're doing an amazing job Shannon and I hope you really are taking it all in and feeling good about it instead of dwelling on what isn't good enough.
I also don't know who is complaining but I am grateful for the outpouring of love and advice and the understanding. The analogy of the ambulance and ferrari worked for me but most of all the element that its is up to OUR MINDS to dictate the speed.
I hope that this ferrari will work wonders for me, because I'm now expecting it to clear a lot up for me
and as quickly as my mind will allow which I hope is a lot faster than it would have been in any lesser Generation sub.

So I'm hoping that 6G will enable perhaps a listener to simply listen for 6months or 3months to get a fuller clearing and cleansing of issues such as fear etc
thanks
ps: Having recently read 1 members journal where he has been here since 2014 and confused about how the subs have benefitted him, I'm wondering now whether this E2 is really a bigger leap from E1 and thus would it be better to not expect big things until E version X, Generation 7 or 8 is around?
thanks lol
You astonish me. First I gave you an ambulance (V1) and it does the job, but it's not really fast or a smooth ride. Then I gave you an ambulance with a Ferrari racing engine, racing tires and a race car driver. (V2) Much faster and smoother. But they both have to drive at the speed limit YOU SET.
Now you're complaining because the program only drives at the speed at which YOU MAKE IT GO?
I guarantee you, if you use V1 for 12 months, and V2 for 12 months, you'll get many times the benefit from V2. Many, many times. But for it to work at maximum success, it goes as fast as YOU can handle. V1 tried to plow through everything instead, and that caused the user to slow it down and resist.
Yes, I am planning to upgrade E2 to 6G. But even then, it will not work faster than you can go. Because going at the speed at which you are ready and able to process change, growth and healing is not going to be changed by more power. It still depends on what is safe and effective FOR YOU.
I think you are allowing yourself to be influenced too much by your conscious insecurities. And there will almost certainly not be a G7 or G8 in this next 10 years. 6G is being designed to be all that is possible to do at this time.
It also seems like a very subtle, very clever ploy on the part of your subconscious to get you to stop using the program because it wants to avoid following the instructions it's being given.

I believe that sounded like complaining
Shannon, can we have a new masked track for the future subs? If it will increase your workload, and if it is not do-able for the same reason, we can always start a poll about the different options and chose the top 2. I can't say for others, but after all these years, I have developed a little disliking for the masked options already available.

So much about complaining
We had some suggestions about a fire crackling track, but I remember Shannon saying somewhere it's a lot of work to build a new mask. Let's see what Shannon says.
Thanks for the encouraging words, guys. I'm not sure what happened to make me feel hopeless and depressed yesterday - perhaps too many days running MIR and losing BAMM. Fortunately that is a very rare experience for me.
I'll tell you what. You guys figure out amongst yourselves the top three suggestions you have for a masking track that would replace the Trickling Stream track, and then I'll look into how feasible those are and see what happens.

It happens to the best of us Shannon.
Glad you're feeling better.
As for tracks, I have no idea. I just use the ocean waves, and it doesn't bother me much tbh.

hahaha not at all, I have no room to complain, I'm only on day 7 so far of E2. I will complain after a long long run of E2 haha (I'm joking).
I was simply seeking thoughts and answers that would help me to better understand my concerns and thats what Shannon and Keith and others did superbly so thank you
I just can't wait to get E2-ised lol

Why replace trickling stream and not ocean surf? I barely see some1 using it! If it is to replace one of those 2 I suggest at least making a pool for what to replace!
Edit: oh and for replacement I vote for piano sounds! Rainy mood songs is not bad also.

I created a thread about this here:

Please don't replace the trickling stream, I love it and love it more than ocean.
A suggestion I have could be maybe classical music, or a more energising techno beat for when you want to get exercising with the subliminal or motivated to do something else perhaps?
Also no worries mate, it happens to us all and its why were here. No matter what I wrote I wasn't complaining and if it came across like that no worries, hear me on the phone and you'll see I'm just upbeat all the time, erm mostly lol
