I hope when and if you create psychic self defense/protection that the emotional shielding WILL be included,thank you Shannon. respectfully. Keith.

E2 has a set of instructions in it that are aimed at shielding the conscious mind from the healing that is going on as much as possible to minimize the pain and discomfort you experience consciously while dealing with and processing the subconscious healing and emotions that need to be healed. This has not been perfect, but is much preferable to working without it. In DMSI 3.x, I will be adding this for the clearing to be easier to handle.

Meditation is intentional, consciously guided state shifting.

The standard definition of "meditation" is to either focus one's mind completely on one thing or to clear it completely of all things. These, when successful, result in an altered state of awareness.

If you are in the process of listening to DMSI it will dominate and disturb this effort, and your conscious efforts will disturb it's state shifting also.

Using any form of state shifting at any time while doing DMSI (but not actually being in the process of listening to it) will disturb the secondary state shifting while you're doing it, at least while you are doing the meditation.

So for example... if you successfully meditate, don't expect to be sniping anyone or projecting while you do.
Thats right,thats right,NOw that you put it that way,NOW I remember that about E2 and reading that. so I didnt miss it,I remembered and yes that is definitely the case...thank goodness, coz there are ,lots of painful memories and they peep thier heads up about the waters of the subconscious at time and I KNOW that the shield,clearing and healing is occuring. thank you for the re-visit clarification Shannon. this has been a deep road being on E2 now fer almost 6 months str8.

Gawd I hope that after you finish with GPR,MIR2 and DMSI that you'll consider some sort of Ultra-Success Combo/Hybrid ! thanx again. Keith.

I'm aiming for MHS... but ultra success stuff would also be awesome. Just have more pressing need for MIR/MHS right now.

As you know, a Contract is a legal document.

I needed to file a legal document with the courthouse and even though it was notarized... the clerk "wet" her fingertips with a moist sponge and ran her fingertips across my signature to see if it would smudge... just to make sure it was a real signature.

So being on DMSI conflicts with meditation. I.e if I'm listening to DMSI (I mean in general, not in the moment), I can't do any meditation, or it will conflict with state shifting. Is this correct?

Or do you mean meditating while, in the moment, listening to DMSI loops?

Because currently I am doing some meditation practices, and I always make sure that I don't listen to my DMSI loops while meditating (I listen to them while doing something else, like working, or sleeping).

If so, I might have to drop meditation Sad

I definitely can't wait for that. I use the 4G version between subs. It just a great feeling when you set out to do anything it's going to get done. New with these new technologies this will be crazy. I can't wait.

Examples
  1. Being drunk?
  2. DayDreaming/ Fantasizing?
  3. Worrying about different things in your mind
  4. Being sleepy

Just something I thought of just now. I'm wondering if anything like these affect the subs?

Yeah I mean Cmon Shannon, alot of things are concious state shifting such as mindfulness, Daydreaming, Focusing on work, Smoking Weed and going to sleep. meditation is focus and if we cant focus then what are we supposed to do. Also watching TV and Playing video games have been proven tio pu you in a trance state so now we cant watch Movies and play games?
I agree. It's almost a paranoia not to be able to do simple things, that help in the self-development no less, just to make sure the sub would work at full potential. I get it that DMSI is not necessarily "turn on and forget it plays" kind of sub but it shouldn't be designed so that something as simple and helpful as meditation hinders it.
And:

"Caffeine has been reported to increase the strength and frequency of beta brain waves, which are associated with high alertness and fast thinking"

So under a very black and white definition, one would not even be able to consume caffeine--as it might for example inhibit the relaxation that E2 offers. A more nuanced view would argue that one should never utilize state-shifting techniques during the time the sub is running, and when it is probable that the script is executed. Nevertheless, it's very hard to define in black and white terms where state-shifting obstructs the goal of any program.

You cannot meditate while listening to DMSI.

You cannot mediate while expecting DMSI's state shifting to be in effect.

Otherwise, we go through various states of awareness all the time.

Of course those things cause state shifting. And they will interfere with DMSI's state shifting to whatever degree they are able to influence or dominate.

When you fall asleep, are you in a state that DMSI would have put you in? No. That's why DMSI can interfere with sleep. But sleep always wins. And you're not getting laid while you sleep, are you.

Being drunk is chemical state shifting. It is literally being physically enforced. Is it going to interfere with DMSI's state shifting? Of course it is. You put alcohol in your system and the brain is going to be affected. There's only so much it can do to affect itself under those circumstances. and too much alcohol is always going to blow your chances. Is DMSI's state shifting more effective or degraded when you're drunk? Of course one drink makes me a much better pool player and bowler. 2+? Forget it. Same with state shifting... small amounts may enhance. Larger amounts will detract.

I'm not saying put your life on hold for it... I'm saying... don't interfere with it and then get mad when/if it doesn't work.
