I got the understanding the even one of the souls may realize they are, but the other one can be "locked in" to their current life and be afraid of change or not even spiritually aware enough to understand the underlying attraction or willing to acknowledge it. Then the other one can just as you say wait and see, and perhaps help the other one to develop spiritually by offering supporting nudges and unconditional love, not expecting anything to happen but trusting it will, at some point. However I'm not fully sure of how karmic debt work in relation to this, from what I read karmic debt is something else, where you are attracted to one person to make "remedy" for bad decisions in a previous life?
I said nothing about Twin Flames. Those are so rare to encounter each other in a given lifetime that you may as well just presume they don't exist. That is why I said Mirror Souls. Those are not really actually soul mates, but their particular karmic bond holds them in attraction to each other in ways that is easy to mistake for that case.
The subject of karma is a complex one, and most sources do not understand it well enough to try to explain it. So don't be surprised if it takes you a lot of time to research it well enough to understand it well enough to really get the gist of what it is.
Mirror Souls are karmically bound to be attracted to each other for the purpose of doing what Mirror Souls do: showing one another their weaknesses and flaws. The goal is not an easy one, so to get these two together in any meaningful way the attraction has to be off the charts. This holds them together in a relationship that starts off with bliss and ends up in one of two outcomes. 98% of the time, one party will see the flaws and work to improve themselves, eventually outgrowing the other party who is not willing to do the same, and then leaving to find someone at their current level.
1% of the time, neither is willing to do the work to grow past the flaws their mirror soul has or shows them about themselves, so they live in misery together, hating each other and life after a while.
1% of the time, both realize what is going on, and the work together to grow together, steadily dealing with and growing from their flaws and doing so at a relatively even pace so they are constantly happy together, working together, growing and improving as they enjoy the process (challenging through it is) and the attraction that brought them together in the first place.
Information on Mirror Souls is very scarce compared to "information" on Twin Flames, because everyone wants the icing on the cake, and nobody wants the ugly truth. I would estimate that for every million (and it might be a much higher number) Mirror Soul relationships you encounter, you *might* encounter a real Twin Flame. So just forget about Twin Flames. If that person is your Twin Flame, you'll end up in a life locked relationship if it's supposed to happen. Most times, Twin Flames don't (aren't allowed to) recognize each other if they ever encounter one another, and they almost never encounter each other in a life where they're not supposed to bond in a significant relationship because they are so distracting to one another's reason for being here in the first place otherwise.
If there is some sort of soul bond, bet your money it's a Mirror Soul bond, and be ready - if you get together - to have this person show you your flaws and weaknesses. And get ready to hit the ground running, because in one of these relationships there are only those three options: You both try to hide from the growth and remain miserable; one of you grows while the other hides and then ends the relationship after they outgrow the stagnant one; or they both grow together, and that can indeed resemble a soul mate relationship. But for every real Twin Flame relationship there are thousands that will be mistaken for one because the mirror souls chose to grow together, and millions that will be mistaken for one because the people involved don't really understand what a Twin Flame is, or what the relationship is like.
Sad but true. You're almost never here to have fun. You're almost always here to learn something. And most people are only willing to learn the hard way, through pain and discomfort.
Interesting. Thanks for the info.
However, the odds to find someone to grow with through life seems very low. First you need to find someone who is a "mirror soul" to you, and then you only have a 1% chance of finding someone who will be able to grow at the same pace as yourself. Is there anything you can do to increase your chances, beside keeping on working on yourself and growing, to find a partner that will keep grow along you?
You're assuming that a mirror soul is the only way to find someone to grow with in life. Karmic and soul mate relationships are usually the exception, not the norm. You may be karmically "destined" to meet some of the people you have a relationship with, and maybe even "destined" to have a relationship with some people. But usually the choice is yours. Mirror souls are going to be more common for people who have a high burn rate and less common for those who have a moderate or low burn rate. Burn rate being how fast you're "burning karma" in this life.
You don't need to worry about finding mirror souls and soul mates. If the time is right, you will not be able to get away from the circumstances that bring you together.
Most relationships are just regular relationships. They happen if and when you make them happen. They go the way the people involved make them go. It's your choice. Not every relationship by far is all about karma.
I see. Thanks. Just two final questions and I will not be taking up your time any more:
1) Karmic burn rate - the more you grow the more karma you burn of?
2) is the growth you will achieve with your AM program comparable to what you would find when meeting a mirror soul?
1) Karmic burn rate - the more you grow the more karma you burn of?
According to this point of view:
The real purpose of karma is to create a situation in which the incarnating soul will grow and learn regardless of what happens. Succeed or fail, learning and thus growth happens. It makes the question not if growth happens, but how long will it take based on the cooperativeness and choices of the soul. Basically in a grand scheme of things sense, karma is a ledger of when you did things right and when you broke the rules. When you do things right because you understand that rule, you no longer have to learn what that rule is, and that rule no longer influences you unless you choose to break it.
When you break a rule, you have to go back and try again, in different ways and from different experiential points of view until you understand that you broke the rule, and you outgrow the need to learn not to break that rule.
This process of endless repetition until the desired lesson is learned ensures that all souls eventually "get it" and graduate, but the process takes more or less time depending on the choices that soul makes.
The burn rate is how much you are focused on learning the lessons that karma requires you to learn. Some souls want to learn faster than others, so they will focus more on that process and cooperate with the process more than others. Those who are focused more on mastering these lessons have a high burn rate. Those who are focused on avoiding these lessons have a low burn rate. And those too immature to even understand that they are making mistakes yet have a negative burn rate. They are still making the mistakes that trigger the karma that will then put them into situations which they must learn from.
There is an old saying that wisdom erases karma. What this means is, when you understand the lesson, and you then choose no longer to make the mistakes that necessitated the lesson, you have no more need of the lessons, and you are free of them. Karma is basically a system that catches your mistakes and focuses you into learning that they were mistakes and how to grow past them, not make them anymore. The more you grow, the more you understand, the wiser you become and the less karma you have to deal with.
2) is the growth you will achieve with your AM program comparable to what you would find when meeting a mirror soul?
In some cases yes, and in other cases, no. AM is a self led journey of growth that focuses on making you a self sufficient, self reliant man who can and does take care of himself, lead himself and achieve his highest potential as a male.
Your task with mirror souls is to help one another overcome character weaknesses and flaws that you both have. These are typically things like:
- Treating yourself and/or others with the respect they deserve.
- Understanding the difference between false and genuine pride.
- Understanding the value of honesty and trust.
- Valuing yourself enough to refuse to allow yourself to be mistreated, used, taken advantage of, etc.
- Learning to value your own company.
- Learning to provide yourself with love, affection, approval, self worth, permission, etc. instead of needing to get it from others.
- Be kinder to yourself and/or others.
- Be considerate of yourself and/or others.
- Be patient with yourself and/or others.
- Stop harming yourself and/or others.
- Learning to do what you say you will do.
- Learning to play by the relationship rules you agree to.
- Learn to see yourself and your beliefs, choices, actions and results as they really are, instead of how you want them to be.
- Learn not to betray the trust placed in you by others.
- Heal from betrayals of trust that are holding you back.
- Overcome fear of being alone, abandoned, deceived, betrayed, etc.
- Etc.
