I can tell you that it does not affect my dog, and I know my dog well, I am sure I’d notice if he was uncomfortable. I play hybrid or silent at a medium volume on speakers (medium relative to my ears which are very close.) My speakers are behind my head and much closer to my ears than to my dog’s, so the dog gets a much lower volume than I do.

I remember Shannon once saying that what you should do is observe your dog to make sure he/she is not uncomfortable.

Thanks fab10, i normally listen with headphones but last night was too late to do it otherwise would of been up till after 3am. She didnt seem to be bothered too much by it which was good.

Past a few loops of OF ultrasonic and I notice that my eyes get very heavy and tired (but mainly just around my eyes nowhere else really)

It’s been like this since the beginning of my OF usage hasn’t really improve much yet but I’ve been pushing through (mainly play it on the iPhone at 14/16 to 16/16)

I don’t really notice the tiredness while listening to masked or hybrid (even at past 6 loops)

The interesting thing is I have been noticing a lot of benefits and effect from OF just curious why this onset of tiredness is still presenting itself

I wanna pre order LTU and then listen to it with my brother. i heard that exposision to subliminal its ok . but can i send it to him for he to listen alone when i will be not home? or me and my friend we wanted to fold both for your more expensive sub. for example AM6 250 him 250 me. anyway the same question can we send that to each other later or we have to buy our own copy each. thanks

I believe Shannon uses the "software licensing" model of copyright for his subs - so it's one license-one person apart from "fair use" (so f. in. someone being exposed to it while you're using it personally). Thus I don't think the "split payment" model would work unless you guys would only listen to the subliminal together. Giving a full-fledged copy to your brother would also be a no-no (you'd have to buy another license for yourself).

Ah that's interesting, i was going to ask something similar. I'm likely to get LTU but really wanted my wife to benefit as well, particularly from DRS (if it's on, because i know we get a good amount of negative energy). That being said we're quite short on cash due to recent circumstances so I wanted to find out if the piracy module would block her from benefiting whilst I play it overnight - in the past i've just bought two copies of a sub to be on the safe side but right now that's not an option for us. 

This is Darwin by the way - something got messed up when i changed my password and i'm now stuck using the first account i set up in 2013 with a cheesy name.

It will ve very obvious very quickly if your dog is not happy with being exposed to the ultrasonic.  If you play it too loudly, it will cause them a headache, and they will look, and act, miserable, almost immediately.  If that didn't happen, you should be fine.

That most likely means that approaching the specific level of awareness that Ultrasonic alone approaches triggers some resistance, which is using significantly more energy, but is still being overcome.  When the resistance is over-ridden, the tiredness goes away.  Using Masked doesn't trigger that resistance, and using Hybrid overrides it immediately.

The Anti-Piracy module works like this.  Whoever buys it, owns it.  That means you cannot pay halfsies, because only the person making the order owns it.  Whoever owns it has the right to use it as they please; anyone else can only be exposed while the owner is using it.  

If you give a copy to someone else, then one of two things will happen.  Case #1 is, you're giving the program away to them, and not keeping any copies for yourself; i.e., transferring ownership to them.  If you transfer ownership and keep no copies, then they own it and you no longer do.  Now they can use it as they please, and you must either buy a copy for yourself, or be exposed to it while they are using it.

Case #2 is you give them a copy while retaining ownership.  This triggers the Anti-Piracy module, because they do not own it.  In this case, you will have to make the situation right to dis-engage it.  That means you either buy a second copy, or transfer ownership to them entirely.  And someone is going to say, "Oh, I can get around that simply by passing ownership back and forth!" No you can't.  That's also going to trigger the AP code, not dis-engage it.  Fair is fair for both you and me.  

So you should not buy it halfsies, because one of you will own it, and the other will have to be exposed while the owner is using it.  If that works, be my guest until you can afford for the other person to buy their own copy.  But it's not recommended.  And you cannot give a copy to someone else to use while whomever owns it is not using it, because only the owner has the right to use it that way, and that will trigger the AP module.

I suggest you simply buy it one stage at a time if you cannot get the whole set at once right now, or save up for the whole set for each of you.  Buying it one stage at a time, you're going to pay more per stage and you will be paying for all seven stages.  But you'll be able to afford a copy for each of you to own, and then you can buy each stage as you need it, without triggering the AP module.

We do not use the software licensing model.  You are purchasing a copy of the program and you own it - it is not being licensed to you.  So long as you retain ownership, it is yours.  The IP remains mine, but you own that copy.

In the future, I may switch to licensing the programs instead of selling them, but for now they are being sold, not licensed.  Otherwise, you seem to have the gist of it.

Ah that's interesting, i was going to ask something similar. The AP module does not trigger if the owner exposes someone else while they are exercising their reasonable use rights.  That is considered fair use.  But the other person cannot use it; only the owner.  And the AP does not stop it from working, but you would rather not trigger it, I assure you.  You have nothing to worry about if you buy a copy and play it at night while your wife is sleeping in the same bed.  You are using it; she is being exposed because you are using it; that is reasonable; no harm done.
