It's best not to take a break with OF because un-removed fear can regenerate itself.  Just wait until your ASRB2 break, take that, and then go to v3.

Andrew had a good logical response to this as well, and of course I don't remember what it was because it's been years.
It may have been logical, but the user/pass are visible on login submission regardless. A packet trace on my network interface confirms it. You're using a session token thereafter for the life of its cookie, though, so there's no re-sending of the password throughout the rest of the browser session, at least.

Noted, hence my aforementioned login attempt. If there's no choice, there's no choice.

Suspected, as already mentioned, but it seemed like an afterthought worthy of clarification. Thanks. Smile

It is indeed concerning that login details could be stolen and used to download all our purchases. I doubt that would trigger the anti-privacy script but it would be a huge damage to IML (because if someone goes through the trouble of illegally accessing IML accounts, you can be sure all the subs will be on the black market in a matter of hours.) It would be a lot of pain for the affected users as well, who will have to prove that it wasn’t their responsibility.
Yeah, sorry, in my struggle to remain concise, my emphasis may have landed awkwardly. My thoughts were about IML first, for exactly those reasons, and about the potentially compromised user second. The reference to the anti-piracy scripting was an afterthought (last in the list), not a primary concern, and you're probably right. One would hope that the scripting already accounts for various cases of theft, compromise, or loss (phones, laptops, tablets, usb sticks, MP3 players, remote backup storage, etc), many of which are beyond the user's knowledge or control.

Still, I do take personal responsibility for choices resulting in avoidable losses and for the methods that I choose for storing/accessing the files, which is why my preference has been to log in (for either purchase or download) with https (if available). But we don't have much time before OF v3's introductory price ends, so, while I'd hope for https to be a selectable option (as it has been in the past) before that window of opportunity is over, it sounds like it may not be.

It will almost certainly not be.  My efforts to get this corrected have been delayed for reasons outside of my control.

I hear you on the rest, fair enough.

Just to follow up on this part above. So, we have 11 ideas so far that will be implemented, with another 9 to be tested for possible inclusion as well? Wow, that's fantastic. That's quite a lot to implement in one release. A lot of scripting required to make it all harmonious, no doubt. Really looking forward to this release and how it interacts with my issues. I hope my posts recently gave enough insight? I appreciate your detailed post earlier about me by the way.

The other day I got an intense feeling of what it'd be like to be rid of my fear(s), was amazing to think about and really get into. Was very exciting to finally be rid of that shit, it felt possible to do etc. and was quite a good feeling. Like euphoric, it felt like it was really going to happen with this release, I hope so and it isn't wishful thinking. Today that has dulled a bit, but still, the program is looking to be a big step forward so I'm excited to see it soon.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a copy of OF V3. I knew it'd be a successful release, just like OF V2.

Right now, we have 4 implemented, 1 in process, and 5 more definitely required for inclusion.  One has been permanently rejected.  3 are still possible inclusions, and the rest are unlikely, but will be re-assessed once all this is completed.

That feeling you got of what it's like to be rid of your fears?  That could very well be TID.

Hey @Shannon, how are all of these improvements coming along now? Fantastic how so far 10 ideas were green-lighted already. That's impressive, good to see so much forward movement, creates confidence surrounding OF V3.

That TID thing may be possible, I don't think I've ever felt it before so I don't know how it's supposed to make the person feel. I do know that feeling dulled yesterday and today, but that one day was awesome, lol.

Looking forward to hearing more about OF V3 as things progress.

So far there are a verified 11 ideas going in, minimum.  I have had some ideas while working, but only one so far has passed modeling.  I'll do another sweep for final check of the remaining ideas after these 11 are finished being added.  We are making good progress.

TID is the initial experience of the program's influence before you start playing it, and with people who are strongly fear-driven it seems to be that they compensate for it as much and as quickly as possible.  Since the program isn't "here yet" (being used in the "now"), the effects are weaker the further into the "past" you begin experiencing them from the time when you start actually using the program, and thus easier to counter.

However, I and at least three other people so far have experienced an unusual new type of TID since 5.75.7G became a thing, and all of us have experienced the same thing: a sudden very strong experience of having the effects of a program, so strong we can identify what it is coming from title-wise, which is unlike anything we have ever experienced before, and which lasts 2-4 days and then fades.

When I got the effects from AOL, I was definitely not planning to run it at all, and yet I got those results clear as day for a number of days.  Then weeks later, I ended up running it unexpectedly at the suggestion of one of my advisors in an effort to help her depression, which it did a beautiful job of.

So it sounds like your experience fits the common experience, which is why I think it is a plausible explanation to say it is potentially TID.
I think I experienced TID from OF V3. Received an unlikely opportunity that requires me to stretch and evolve. Was feeling overwhelmed thinking about it, then a warm feeling encompassed my whole body, almost hot. And as the feeling faded I calmed down, thinking more positively about this new endeavor.
So, needless to say, I went and pre-ordered OF V3.

wishing success to everyone here

Wow, great to hear you had an epiphany while working on it and that is now going into the program. Quite a lot of new ideas going in then, that's fantastic to hear. Very exciting indeed!

Ah, maybe that was TID then. Interesting. Weird how it showed up and then went, instead of staying or staying and getting progressively stronger. As you say, maybe it's a new kind of this effect.

I have a feeling that if you really max this thing out, that it is likely to be the breakthrough for me once and for all. That was what I felt that day of TID. Hopefully that comes true.
Count me in on the TID. I feel absolutely free and light as a feather. I also get the typical strong sense and undeniability of it being TID. Same experience as with my other TID experiences, an distinct quality to it.

Very cool.
I've got an opposite set of feelings. Almost like a contradictory set of fears pulling me in opposite directions. It's got me feeling jittery and anxious with hesitancies. This flares up at work.

5.75.7G does allow me to "max out" certain variables.  Let's hope they're the right ones.

I know that my job is a large investment of time and energy (in exchange for money), but it's not my calling. So I have the strong desire to do other things.
Compound that to the fear of missing out on my goals/dreams conflicting with my fears of not doing well financially if I left.
Compound that with the worry that I'll be "called out" by a superior for a silly mistake. Or that they'll somehow know that I'm slacking off (we don't have the tech to track employees).
Compound that with the fear that I'm getting older, etc. etc.

It winds up making all of my actions and thoughts jittery; difficult to think straight. Probably the mental experience of someone who struggles with mild anxiety.

And this has been much more pronounced recently. So possibly TID.
Shannon,
I wanted let you know that I am getting some serious TID's from UMSv2....something very interesting happened this very early morning, with and in a special part of my life, in relation to UMSv2

These programs have been multi-dimensional for quite some time, with the new Tech's/Spec's/Checks(Ha!)..... 5.75.7 it is REALLY multi-dimensional, now, Man. wow!!

I tell ya one thing ,when you finally finish this puppy up and get to using it, YOU ARE going to absolutely love this thang !! and might I add, dig the living shit out of it ,too. Just wait and watch..... you'll see! Ha.

Sparkle in the eye, wry knowing smile..... High,Ho, SIlver and da way we go!!
