I am currently performing the very last step in the development chain... I can see blue skies.  But we're not out of the tunnel just yet!

Excellent news!

Any update on the X4A-2000 situation? I remember you saying you were releasing it despite not having the testing conditions/testers for it to achieve it's end goal. So you were not going to charge the full price even for it due to such a situation. Which is understandable logic, I get that. I was just wondering if there is another issue occurring or if it's the same issue, and anything else since your phone call on Monday.

Looking forward to reading the longest description you've ever made, haha. Judging by your words, it should be insanely long and interesting.

The price isn't going to be reduced.  It just hasn't been calculated yet.  I was thinking originally that it would be a certain point, and now I don't have that certainty.  But it could be anything, since the models determine the price, not me.  I do know that there is ~80% chance that the price will be between $2,500 and $6,500 per copy.

Currently, we have only one issue left and that will be solved shortly.  Exactly how long it will take I cannot say, but it's most likely to be solved between the 15th and the 21st of this month.
Shannon,
so the going price for standard 6G is going to be 600$per copy right?

That's a hefty price!

Now I myself wanting to inquire how much DMSI in 6G is going to cost. In order to start saving money if necessary. Back in the day you projected it's going to cost 1.500 USD, but I can see the planned prices are increasing.

$600 per copy for a 6G standard (non-premium) is what I would like it to cost.  What it actually costs depends on what the models tell me matches the perceived value my customers get from it.   I haven't finished 6G-final yet and I haven't calculated it yet.  Might be less, might be more.  But I'd like $600/copy to buy or $69.95 per month to subscribe.

Premiums have a minimum price of $1,500, and have no price limit.  Price will be determined as much by what value is delivered as by who isn't supposed to be able to get access to the title based on what its goals are.

I don't have any idea what DMSI in 6G will cost.  And don't presume that because one title has a higher price, that all Premiums will.  They will be at least $1,500, but the rest is up to the models as to what works best.  One Premium might be $6,500, and the next might be $1,500.  Then we might have one be $4,500 and then $1,750.  It's not going to be like standard subs, where a generation gets a static price.

So far I have been unable to get a positive lock on the final price for X4A-2000, which usually means there are still too many possibilities that could come to pass to narrow it down yet.
Okay. So how much would you recommend, as an estimate, to save up? 1.500 USD minimum - 6.500 USD maximum? I'd like to know as I make my money in potato currency which is 4.5 per dollar at current exchange rates so setting the funds aside would be a necessity (for me, at least - the minimum monthly wage around here is about 1000 USD/month, I make a bit more, but still).

I finished calculating the configuration for the 6G skeleton script additions.
Now I am developing the support script.
After that the tagging needs optimization and then I weave it out.
Then it will be ready for me to build the alpha test program.
So we should have the 6G alpha test program in an estimated 4 to 12 days.

I won't know what the price is until shortly before it gets published.  Only then do I have a stable enough option for accurately calculating it.  DMSI v5 will be a Premium, and it will be at least $1,500.  Beyond that, I unfortunately don't know enough to guide you.

Shannon, is the plan for UMS v3 to be in the premium category or non-premium?

Right now, my plan is to make it 6G, non-premium.
Hi Shannon,

I'm afraid that I have another question about your subliminal Cornetto-trilogy - EHPRA, OGSF, and SD.
The marketing copy for EHPRA states that it contains the entire script for OGSF 5.11G; if that's the case, why would I spend another 6 months on OGSF exclusively?
I'd assume that it's to specifically target those issues before jumping onto SD.

Thanks in advance.

@Ampersnd  Not Shannon haha, but I believe I can hopefully answer your question.

These OFSG aspects of the script that EHPRA contains aren’t the same script as OFSG V2.  EHPRA’s OFSG version is taken from the 5G script (I believe that was used in the original EHPRA program) which was then updated to 5.11G so while it is focusing on fear shame and guilt it’s not doing so in the same way as the actual OFSG V2 program since the two scripts are very different from one another.

I’ve done a run through of OFSG V2 and I’m doing EHPRA right now and I would say it’s definitely worth it to do them both as like Shannon said, EHPRA can be thought of as the foundation for the other two programs to really build upon within this trilogy.

I hope this at least somewhat helps, I’m sure @Shannon could go into much greater depth here but to the best of my understanding this is how the two programs are complimentary to one another.

Oh, perfect. That's the level of answer that I was looking for. That makes sense. The 5G version upscaled to 5.11G is a different script to the original V2 that is 5.11G.
