GK, the good way to test your speakers and see if they work is first play a song.. unreasonably loud then switch to the ultrasonics. If your head starts hurting and the veins in your temple start tightening up.... then the ultrasonics are working. So now that they are working make sure to balance the ultrasonics out with the ocean waves at an equal or lower level.

That might be a little much, I don't want to damage my hearing or body. I turn it up till I hear the scratchy white noise, then lower the volume until I can't tell it is there.
I had my speakers on like almost max, and then ~10% in Windows.,
ofcourse my Scroll bugged and when I got out from the shower, the sound was up to 100%!!!!
AHhh, that 23Khz Ultrasonics volume killed me. XD

Thanks in advance!

The progress on 4G upgrading has been stalled for a bit, but it'll be getting back on track in a day or so. I don't know when that specific title will be upgraded though.

That will achieve maximum possible volume for the effective use of the ultrasonics. Check the volume on audible tracks after that and make sure it's reasonable.

can you (or anyone else too) tell about the speakers that you are using for the ultrasonic tracks?
If I listen to ASC ocean surf with my headphones, I feel a difference after only 30 min, but nothing noticable with the speakers (ultrasonic). I use Creative A60, and they actually fill the requirements (max: 20 kHz). I really want to have speakers I know are working before starting a big program (I want to start with Alpha11 as soon as possible).
I use the speakers on my laptop. That said, I have a high end laptop and I bought the pest audio system I could for it. It's 4 years old, and I don't remember the specs, but it works just fine. I do recall that it was $1,650 when I bought it, and it is not a Mac. In other words, it's a very high end laptop that can still hold its own today, although it's no longer at the top of the heap.
The effect you describe appears to be explained by the theory that the louder the ultrasonic subliminal is, the faster and more obviously it works. This is also seen clearly with the use of the Type A subliminals. Using it on speakers just isn't getting the same volume apparently, or the same effective volume, since headphones sit right on your ears.
That said, it is important to remember that ultrasonics are sound and too loud a sound can cause problems. Be advised that I recommend against using headphones with ultrasonics. You'll find some useful threads in the FAQ section.

Primarily, the script for 2011 is different in that it is 4G. That is to say, it is optimized and maximized to the limits of current technological potential. There is not a lot of difference otherwise between 2010 and 2011 in stages 1, 2 and 3. It was stages 4, 5 and 6 that I re-worked heavily.

Did try it for a few minutes and yeah I feel it a bit. But if I take the volume too high, I start to hear scratching and voices (someone speaking really fast). Does that say anything?
The first weeks of listening to the sub (only ultasonic on my speakers) my temple did use to hurt after listening to it the whole night (6-10 hours). So does that mean that the speakers are okay to play the ultasonic subs?

That says it's being played properly. The speakers are fine. The scratching and voices are speaker distortion from unreasonable volume.

This is the best speaker I've found in terms of frequency response 70Hz - 50kHz. Will these be more "safe" and effective compared to my Creative A60 speakers (frequency response 90Hz - 20kHz)?
Safety will not be a concern. Those speakers will be slightly more effective because they more cleanly reproduce the high frequency audio, but not a major difference.

Hmmm, I listen to the ultrasonic at a relatively low volume. When I play normal music to test the volume it seems incredibly low, but music is composed of a broad range of frequencies which might make for an overall lower volume. Compared to the ultrasonic which is composed of a relatively small range of frequency, I think it would have the effect of coming in much "louder". This is how I rationalize listening at a low volume anyway lol. But any louder and I do tend to get a headache, so I believe the volume of ultrasonics differ from regular music being played.
Now either my sensitivity prevents me from listening at a higher volume or I have good hearing. This is completely random, but I can also hear the echo location bats do.
If I were to switch to the stream version and listened at a louder volume do you think I would derive more benefit from it? The only reason I don't use the stream version is because it's not very easy falling asleep to it, any sound at night prevents me from sleeping well. But if it's a matter of effectiveness I'd be willing to compromise. My problem I guess is differentiating between sensitivity vs good hearing, and on top of that ultrasonics don't even seem to be heard through the inner ear in the conventional sense so I guess I really don't have a clue how they work.

Switching to masked would not produce much difference, since masked relies on volume differencing, so the volume is already much lower.
Shannon, what’s up with the 4G conversion? It appears to have stopped. I’ve seen a trend that is concerning to me. This post is not axe grinding, but a sincere inquiry to my supplier (friend) to understand what’s going on. I’ve read through your past posts and see a lot of great ideas and projects, but I’m not seeing them make it to market. It’s your business and you run it as you want, but I see you as a supplier of a product that I use. I’m expecting to use your products for some time in the future. My future plans require that you continue to produce and release subs. Like most of the inquiries that I make to my suppliers, you know what’s going on and you have a long term view, but I don’t. If possible, can you enlighten me on what’s up? It’s ok for me to hear that you are intentionally restricting the releases until after AM11 or other subs are completed, in order to isolate the subs effects. It’s also ok to say that “I’m in AM11 stage 4-6’s I don’t care as much phase.” Knowing for me is better than not knowing at all.
So Shannon, what can I do to help.
