The speed at which one will notice results depends on their personality, thinking style, and level of resistance, presuming you're getting enough and consistent exposure. Some people see results in a few days, and some take longer than two weeks. A watched pot never boils, though.

230 to 20kHz is low quality. You should be able to find 20 Hz to 20 kHz no sweat that's affordable.
I am having trouble finding ones that are 20-20kHz. So far, the lowest I have found is 40-20kHz, I will keep looking!
Uh oh, that's not a good sign. That means the manufacturers are cheaping out on us. But 40 Hz to 20 kHz should be fine. There's no bass even remotely close to 40 Hz in any of my subs.
