@Shannon: I've been attemtping to reseach ways of using active manifestation for subliminal use. You see, about a few days ago I thought about how some people discover the answer to their problems by dreaming which, to my understanding, is because the subconsious is still thinking about that problem and thus once it finds that answer it brings it out.
Well I was writing a essay for class and decided to take a break because I was out of ideas however I said to myself "subconsious, for the next 45 minutes think of something good for me to write down". Time went on, and when I sat back down to type my paper after a second or two ideas began flowing. Intrigued, I decided to do it again, similar phrasing, and once again after taking a break and resuming the paper I had ideas flowing again.
Now I was excited. So now I decided to think slightly bigger. In a few days I'll be getting a head start on Maximum Learning but I wanted to test out my "prepping" trick once more. So this time, I stated to my subconsious once again (in my head of course) "for the next 3 days instill in me an intense desire to learn at maximum speed, and also a desire to learn in general" or something like that. I was in math class when I stated that, and for the next hour in that class I had an INTENSE desire to learn, and was zeroed in for the whole class.
Perhaps all the above was placebo, but who cares? This whole thing prompted me to ask you exactly about how active manifestation is done because if I was just doing it, then I've found a way for me to greatly speed up the rate at which I get effects.
It sounds to me as if you have excellent access to and cooperation from your subconscious. Good job!
Active manifestation is done through a number of different methods. The commonality between them is that they all rely on the following to work.
1. There must be a clear, definite, specific goal.
2. The goal must be possible to achieve.
3. There must be enough energy used towards achieving the goal for the goal to be achieved.
4. There must be enough desire to achieve the goal.
5. There must be enough action, internal or external (or both) for the goal to be achieved.
Active manifestation can take forms as mundane as sitting down, choosing a goal, writing it down, pumping yourself up with desire and energy, and then going out and getting what you want - or it can be as mystical as using ceremonial magick to get the same thing.
I have found self hypnosis and creative visualization very effective for active manifestations. Usually what I do, when I do not choose to use a subliminal, is this.
Step 0. I find a place and time where the light is low or at least diffused, and where there are no distractions and plenty of quiet.
Step 1. I choose a specific goal.
Step 2. I focus on that goal and begin intensely and passionately imagining myself joyously experiencing it. I enjoy this visualization for at least five minutes.
Step 3. Then I light a white candle and try to project my desire and intent into the flame as I light it. This focuses my mind and "puts it out there" even more for it to happen.
Step 4. I gaze at the candle flame lightly, while imagining myself to be enjoying the desired result. This eyes-open visualization pulls me into Alpha and sometimes Theta, where hypnosis happens, and where access to the subconscious mind is strongest. The candle makes it easy to achieve such states of reverie and focus.
Step 5. After the second round of visualization, using the candle, and while still staring into and focusing through the candle, I state some affirmations about what I want. I always write them down, so they are always the same thing, word for word, which allows the subconscious to remain focused on the same exact task. You might use affirmations directly from a subliminal script, or you might weave a story of what you are imagining, or even write a poem. Just make sure that you specify that it should be achieved without harming anyone in the process.
Step 6: Then I build up as much energy into myself at once I as I can. I use breathing techniques and visualization, but you can do whatever works for you. Once you feel positively full of energy, impose your will upon it and imprint your desires on it. Then, project it back out into the world as quickly as you can.
Step 7. Put out the candle and repeat, at the same time, every day, for however many days it takes.
I have had good results using just plain creative visualization, as well, but using the method outlined above works faster and more easily for me. I usually get what I am trying to achieve in between 7 and 14 days with it. What I outlined is the "stripped down" version. You can make it as fancy and intricate as you like. I prefer to keep it simple and dispense with the mystical when I can. As long as you have the five things I stated in the beginning, it will work.
