Day 11 of carpetbombing. Just downloaded VLC to use instead of WMP, at private recommendation of another user. This should help me turn up the volume on this shit. If so, the carpetbombing is about to go way harder on my subconcious. I think the time for bloom will come a lot sooner now. Subconcious, resist this shit now! I'm turnin this m**********r up!
VLC allows you to do quite a lot of volume increase. Make sure you calibrate with audible first, so you don't damage your ears.
I’ve been carpetbombinh myself for the last 5 days- today I woke about 3 hours ago after sleeping for like 10 hours and am still tired and feeling drowsy- how does one know if they are overloaded and/or if they should continue with the bombing or allow for bloom

On a side note a potential money making opportunity did present itself this week but nothing concrete just yet- I feel that only really while I’m playing UMS and on the days that I play it do I feel motivated to work and progress towards my goals and think about them and plan them out- but while allowing for bloom these affects fade away quickly
Damnit. Using VLC doesn't seem to be helping. In fact. Turning up to 62 on VLS gets to around -60 dB on my Frequensee app. Seems WMV was working better for me. Strange. Past 62 (out of 100) on VLC, the crackling distortion becomes audible. Just checked WMV set to 28 out of 100. Results were no better. Not sure how to go above -50 dB.
Hmm. Maybe try some other hardware? It would appear the speakers you are using (you're using speakers, right?) cannot handle ultrasonic that well (hence the distortion).

Maybe try playing it from your phone, if you have one, and keep it next to yourself?
I don't think you're understanding something if you can't get it above -50 dB. You do know that closer to 0 is louder when volume is expressed as a negative value, right?
I DO know that. Seems the loudest I can get is up to -40 dB using VLC after messing around a bit. Any louder and I get that distorted digital crackling noise.
Day 12 of carpetbombing. One last loop remaining. This has been a thoroughly long carpetbomb. I've gotta figure out how to play this shit louder. Never realized how limited things were with volume until recently. Damn. To think: if I had known of this issue and fixed it sooner, E3 probably would've done even more. Anyway, I still have to figure something out. Once I do, these carpetbombings should be more effective.
If there's crackling distortion when you try to increase the volume above a certain level, it means the audio equipment you are using does not have the membrane to handle it (f. in. my laptop speakers, even though they're pretty good, have issues with ultrasonic above a certain volume threshold. So I either use headphones, my phone or my Hi-Fi). Try some different speakers or method of playback.
It would seem a simple solution to use your cell phone to play the program on.
I'll try that, Shannon, but I think my phone is even worse to do this on than my laptop.

I’d just buy a specialized player of some sort.  We have iPods so our subs don’t get interrupted by calls and whatnot.  The speakers on those work just fine.

I don't have the money. Hence, my use of UMS.

A phone is a known entity I can help configure with certainty. It is also something that you can and will keep with you all the time. Looks at night are not an issue for calls.
