I have a pair of these hanging from my bedroom wall:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samson-MediaOne...n+speakers

No auto-off, and go up to 27kHz. Works fine for me for years. They can be used via bluetooth or cinch cable. Blluetooth isn't recommended though as it's using a compression standard that is not lossless.

Hey bro thanks for this, appreciate it. Unfortunately its out of my budget but im glad someone replied Smile and helped.

awesome masterchief! thank you so much bro I mean Sargeant! these are cheap and can deal with the US frequency. perfect!!

Only thing is these were the ones that had the auto shut off, according to a review I had found on amazon.

can you check and confirm this please? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-A60-2-...C+Speakers
what do you all think of these?

specs: https://support.logitech.com/en_us/produ...z150/specs

detailes specs: https://play3r.net/reviews/logitech-z150...er-review/ - this explains that its pretty low end when it comes to sound, but will that matter since all I want to play are subs?
The logitech ones should be ok, but on the day I chose Creative as I had a MP3 player of theirs, which was good quality and durable.

There is 100% no auto shut-off feature on the Creative speakers I have. It's literally a switch and a volume control, very little that can go wrong.

I played Shannon's test file. The one that is a drone and then becomes quiet if the speakers are compatible with subs. The file went quiet when it was played, so I knew for certain the speakers are good to go with subs.

thanks alot buddy!!
Sunday 2nd was my 35th day break from 3.2. However ive been super busy booking my flight for heading back to uni and shopping and packing.

I will be back in my apartment on 8th September. My sleep cycle is messed up and will be messed up on that day due to flight time.

I hope I will start on the 8th, otherwise I will start on the 9th/Sunday.

I have had very little sleep every day with huge bags under my eyes but this is the way my life is back home unfortunately for me. I have very little routine, very little independence and very little control over my life here.

I am hoping with this sub to start a new life, a life of habit and discipline, a life of control and a life of daily ritual, of daily action that will take me towards my goals.

I could list all my goals here but unsure if its needed suffice to say that I have many many many goals to achieve that impact my study, my career, my health, my appearance and my life overall.

I hope so much that I execute this sub but I know some here have and some here still havent so even on this sub my jury is out Sad

Thank you
Finally flew into Europe today / uni

5.30am flight, didnt sleep before or during the flight and then got to my apartment and slept.

Time is now 3.33am here so for me to start UM/OP is both impossible and inadvisable as its 3 loops upon waking and since ill be listening with speakers, I dont know when i will wake or if I can then afford to stay in bed for 3 loops as I do have lots to unpack and sort out for uni on monday.

That being said I have an 8am start on Monday morning too, so I will try and sleep early today (sunday) and thus set 3 loops to play once I wake and finally start um/op Smile
Im really not happy Sad

There is NO way for me to play the sub.

As per the instructions it should be played upon waking or around the time of waking.

3 loops totals 3hours 24mins.

I dont have 3hours 24mins to sit around listening to the sub when I wake as I have to wake, wash etc and get moving for uni.

I therefore thought the best thing would be to find an app that can play a playlist and set it as an alarm to come on 3hours 24mins BEFORE I have to wake up.

I found an app too and thought it would work.

For the past week I have experimented with the app only to find it is crashes on my phone or plays through my phone and through the speakers at the same time.

I tried 2 or 3 more apps only to fail each time.

Im very angry annoyed and have been frustrated, both at shannon for creating the 1 app I needed but for it to be so difficult to play and to not find a solution.

I dont know what to do except to ask for a refund as I wanted to play the hybrid flac.

I have finally found 1 app, it only plays mp3s but it cannot play the same track 3 times. I may have to now ask Shannon if its okay for me to try mp3 instead of flac, knowing how much I do not execute and also if I can rename the tracks as UMOP1 UMOP2 UMOP3 so that I can have it on my phone as 3 tracks to play.

Even then ive no idea if this app will work or crash and if it doesnt work what the fuck am I supposed to do.

im so upset Sad
If u have an old mobile u can install marcrodroid u can set time and when tonplaynand stop.. I have been doing it for like 1 year..

Will take a little time to understand but it's awesome
Use Audacity on PC to create a silent track of 30 minutes, line them up in a playlist before the sub track so that the sub starts playing at about the time you want. That's it. You don't need a special app on your phone then. In regard to apps, Foobar works best for me on Android phones, but it's not the most intuitive one so you would really need to look into it a bit.

You sure are easy to give up. How long are you using subs now? One week? Try and think a bit. And absorb some of the stuff that gets always and repeatedly asked and answered on this forum.

1. Not able to play .flac? --> Use .mp3 - the difference between 320kbps mp3s and flacs is minimal. I'd say that using speakers instead of head-/earphones has a bigger impact than using the mp3s instead of the flacs.

2. Your app cannot loop one title for a specific number of times? Is it possible to rename the files? --> Come on Jake. This question has already been answered numerous times. Yes, you can rename the files. No problem. If you are paranoid about this, rename the file and check the md5sum again.

3. You don't have the time for three loops in the morning and you are considering to dump "the 1 app I needed", really? --> Seems to me that you don't want to use it. Or you are so terribly afraid of UMOP working or not working for you that you are at the verge of not even giving it a try at all. The answer is obvious. Play it when you have the time.

thanks Raz appreciate the response. Ill see now what I can do and manage.

The last answer though I wouldnt agree with only because the instructions by Shannon are clear which is why I was frustrated since playing it in the morning before I wake was the issue but ill see what I can manage now.
