Definitely dragging from low energy, and definitely using more calories in response to MIR v3, but to my amazement, I have remained capable of working - even if only at a snail's pace.

I've been working on the solution to the auric FRM 4.9 in DMSI and USLM 4.2. USLM 4.2 is finally ready to build; required significantly more adjustments to the Platinum Lake settings than I expected, but it's done. This version has some very strange settings, but even running the models on it multiple times for three days did not change the answer. So... there ya go. But the good news is, it looks like this version should work.

Going this slow I don't know how fast USLM 4.2 will be finished. I just have to build it now, but... well... I'm a snail for the moment, and I'm not going to be winning any snail races today. Not going to be answering questions on the forum until I'm a little better, so I can use that time and energy to work instead. I can't do both right now.

Interestingly, I discovered something while working on USLM that is going to improve DMSI 3.3.3.

I am hoping to be able to get back to the forum and finish USLM 4.2 today, but things have not exactly been going according to plan. I'm still sick, although aside from MIR making me tired from working on that, the entire experience has been basically just enough symptoms to remind me that I have an infection, but not enough to really do much of anything beyond remind me that, oh yeah, I have an infection. The infection I have is the type I would expect to normally knock me down completely for 7-10 days. This has been moderately tired with faint symptoms instead. I'd say that's a pretty impressive improvement. I have been running an experiment where I run it 24/7.

That has let me work, but slowed me down. I have also had some weird stuff happen recently, such as one of my main backups getting erased and then the other one refusing to unlock. When I got it unlocked, I had to rebuild the second backup, and instead of the 12 hours the computer thought that would take, it required 36, all the while using so much system resource that I could not work. (Heavy encryption/decryption slows everything down, and so does trying to move multiple terabytes of data on USB.) So that naturally slowed me down.

Coming into the final stretch on USLM 4.2, and it should be finished today. Hope to publish it today or tomorrow. Then I'll get on Stage 4 as fast as possible.

DMSI has benefited from the work I did on the skeleton script of USLM 4.2, which will be implemented in all future releases as well. This should improve things in general in terms of making the program achieve its goals better.

Not having a good time lately, but I'm still pushing through. Will try to get to the forum today, but if I don't see what you asked, you may have to ask again.

Let's face it. October has really sucked for IML. I've hit a wall building DMSI, been sick most of the month (turns out I'm still sick, but MIR is letting me keep working), and had to spend what time I have been productive building an upgrade that was given away to owners of the previous versions. Since we still have a bit before Stage 4 is necessary, I've decided to build something new, unexpected and fun for you guys in the mean time. (And fun for me too. Can't wait to use this!)

It's about half finished. I'm going to keep it a secret until it is fully finished and I publish it, but watch this space, because I'm hoping to release it tomorrow. And I think you guys will appreciate what I'm building here. It should be fun for everyone. (Well, everyone 18 and older at least. It'll be age limited to adults only.)

Well, I was going to have the secret surprise finished being built tonight... I was about 30 minutes from finished building it when I realized that I left out the age limiter in the script. So there goes most of today's work into the trash... Guess it's not coming out tomorrow.

Alright, I am uploading Stage 4 of Life Tune-Up v6. I worked myself to exhaustion these last 2 days to get it done. Made some changes to how it is made, also,which adds a bit of complexity and a few more steps to the build process, but it should have the effect of making the programs I use it in better in certain ways.

I'm going to have to take tomorrow off, and then I'll begin working on the next program, which I'll tell you about when I'm finished building it. I've narrowed it down to three candidate ideas. All three looking interesting.

During October of 2020, I finally got a chance to test MIRv3 on an infection I developed that started off as a sore throat. I started using MIR v3 immediately, and used it 24/7 like the instructions for MIR v2.1 specified. It was not long before I saw the symptoms disappear, and after a number of days after that (I lost count, and it was less than 5), I stopped using MIR v3 and started using something else.

Within a couple days, the infection returned. This time, it took almost a week of using MIR v3 24 hours a day to take down and again I lost count of the days I had been using it since symptoms stopped, and used it for less than the 5 in the instructions. It again took a couple days for the infection to return, and this time it was worse than ever. Back to MIRv3, and back to using it 24/7. It allowed me to continue working, but this time, the infection was strong enough to challenge my immune system and it made me very tired. I was only able to work slowly, and only on one thing.

During this experience I noted that not only did the infection return if I wasn't using MIR correctly, but it would return faster and faster as the infection got worse because I had not been using it correctly.

This made it very clear that the instructions were wrong. I wondered how they could be wrong when I had derived them from the models, and after looking over the questions and answers I got, I realized I had made a mistake in asking the wrong questions. The questions I asked resulted in answers that would make my customers happy with how much time was instructed, but were not indicating the correct usage patterns for achieving the program goals.

Therefore, now that I know this, and I am aware of what went wrong, I am changing the instructions for MIR v3:

Use it 24 hours a day until the infection you desire to defeat is causing no symptoms at all for at least 5 days. As it turns out, the motivation provided by actually listening to the subliminal apparently cannot be sufficiently matched for this specific purpose by the residual effects of P6 technology that keeps it running in your subconscious after you stop listening. You will need to use it 24 hours a day until the infection is not producing symptoms at all for at least 5 days.

I know this was unpopular for v2.1 of MIR and I'm sure it will be for v3, but it is more important for you to use it correctly than for me to worry about how popular it is. Therefore, I am changing the instructions to make it work as designed. Please update your usage patterns for this program immediately. This is critically important!

I'm working on something I think you guys are going to like. It's not what I originally thought it would be, because that would have taken too long to build. This, however, I had been working on as a secret project in my spare time for the last almost year now so it's mostly finished. I didn't want to release it yet, was planning on sometime next year, but this seems like the best option for building right now, so... here we go.
