Your conclusion is in error. The first stage is well known for not having much obvious effect or challenge if you have already done most of or all of the base work, which you stated you have. More exposure is not always better, but more is better until you overrun your brain's ability to process it all in the amount of time you have per day to do so.
That usually happens somewhere between 13 and 21 hours of exposure per day, and you'll know you've done done it because you'll eventually develop an incredible mental exhaustion as a result.
But more is better. You just had already laid the foundation.
