Much to my surprise, for a period of time today I found a job I actually could do. I transplanted the key script from MLS 5.5G to the latest skeleton script, and then went through it and marked it up, flagging the potential points of resistance for either adjustment or removal. Now I remember why I got so upset that it didn't work. It's pretty incredible what this thing is actually designed to do. I was impressed, reading through it, having forgotten most of what I actually put in it, and that's coming from the "now" me, more than a year later. I have learned and grown in skill and understanding a lot since this was built, but this script still impresses me. It really failed primarily because of the lack of a good FRM at the time.
So MLS is definitely going to benefit from having the points of resistance removed, on top of the new skeleton script, the Platinum Lake build and whatever I decide to add, if anything. I don't really think there's much that could be added to this to make it better than it already is, given that we remove the major points of resistance and support it properly with FRM and so forth. Hopefully when this comes out, you all will see what I had originally intended for it to do and accomplish.
