The two days before yesterday, I had great days. Actually had great days ever since the 16th, because in spite of all the challenging cycles going on, we had some really nice positive ones overriding. Unfortunately, they were short lived.
During that time (on the 17th), knowing these positive cycles were overriding, I decided to try to play the lottery. I decided I was going to play $5 worth, and see what happened. The first thing that happened was that my girlfriend insisted on giving me $5 to play, "because she loves me". It would have been no issue to just buy a pack of gum and get cash back. She normally doesn't want to spend money on things like the lottery. Interesting.
Then I got into the store and decided to buy a can of Lindsay Naturals Green Ripe olives. They're buttery smooth and beautiful, the only American olives worth a damn in my opinion. I figured, it's been a long time since I enjoyed some of those, and GF (who doesn't like olives) might enjoy them. So I get that can and $5 cash back, and then I played the numbers I had chosen 2x, because I figured... if I really am lucky, why not win twice?
We won 2 free tickets and $22.
The next day I put $5 on those same numbers, and $5 on quickpicks, using my winnings. Won 2 free tickets and $18.
Kept doing that with steadily lower wins until my winnings petered out a few days later. The last win was 2 free tickets, which didn't win.
I played more than $50 worth of tickets for $5 out of my own pocket, and had fun. The way it played out was almost exactly what I was thinking would be most likely, given the cycles in play. Was hoping to hit the jackpot for Florida's Fantasy 5, but I had fun instead. Definitely not a loss. I wasn't exactly salivating for the jackpot. It was just a lighthearted experiment. I feel like the fun was a great win, and just a note... I have never won so frequently, or so many times.
Yesterday was challenging. We have been using LTUv6 Stage 4, but GF has been building in frustration recently concerning her work, and yesterday it boiled over. I knew it would, so I had about 20 minutes to prepare myself mentally and emotionally before it happened. Normally what happens is, she gets upset and her way of venting upsets and frustrates me, which causes me to start venting, which upsets and frustrates her, which causes us to start spiraling out of control. I've been learning and practicing how to prevent or stop that for a while now.
Yesterday she couldn't find an item one of her customers ordered. She'd been looking for 2 days at that point, had somehow no records of it in inventory, and it was not where it was supposed to be. She started to panic. It took all of my self control to prevent myself from reacting and joining her spiral, but I did it. My advice, given no less than 15 separate times that day, was to apologize to her customer, explain that she could not locate the item, refund them, and stop wasting time on one item when she could be spending her most precious resource - time - making more money. Eventually I got through and she cancelled the order and refunded them.
Within 5 minutes of cancelling the order, she found it. And where she found it only made me laugh, because while she was looking for it in the same place over and over, I kept pointing out to her that it can't be where you have already looked, so look where you haven't looked. She refused to do that because she had decided that "it could not be anywhere else". It was in one of the two places I told her to look, and the one place she made no effort to look whatsoever because "it can't be there".
During all this I realized that she was getting so upset because some part of her was stuck on a fear that she needed help with, so I started playing OF v2, since Stage 4 was not helping. And, like LTU with certain things, it took about 20 minutes to finish hitting her, but when it did, she calmed right down and relaxed. Let go of her anger at having found it and lost the order, and just went back to making money. Aside from the usual idiots we had to deal with while driving during Christmas time (we get them bad here), the rest of the day was fine.
I say all this to say... wow. OF v2 is really surprisingly powerful and smooth. I knew it would be powerful, but I'm amazed at how smooth it is. I love it. We listened again to 3 more loops last night, and today we are back to good again. I'm very happy with how OF v2 works.
Have been having a hard time getting started on LTUv6 Stage 6 because of all the external disruptions. I'm trying to get started today.
