I think we're realistically going to need to make DMSI as a 2-stage set for 3.x and beyond.

DMSI 2.3 is making me hyper, so I've got a silly suggestion. Did you perhaps try to run a model on how the program would work if divided into two separate audio files (not stages) - one with programming for Goals #1 and #3, and another one with Goals #2 and #4, and ran, for instance, on alternate days (say, Goals #1-#3 Monday, Goals #2-#4 Tuesday, etc. ad infinitum)?

No. That would be a lot more difficult to do than it sounds. Unreasonably difficult.
