It might drown it out a little, it's hard to know. I usually use ocean surf on my pc and if I play a game or watch something I have it so I can still hear the subliminal a little.
Are you sure, Ben? because I remember reading somewhere that US track can penetrate the ear though in noisy places, like at a party. However, it is true with a masked track.
Also Jake2015, you will not experience the "scary" in E2. Instead, you would be hard to see what is really happening. E2 is very pleasant, and you will be "addicted". About the time listening, ranging from one hour a day, then add little by little. It is very useful to people who procrastinate to listen.
Because I've experienced it myself (especially with resistance and experimentation with a habit which was I did) pressing play, was very difficult. And what happens if directly listen for 8 hours or more during the day. The person will feel uncomfortable, and have a greater risk to procrastinate. Maybe it will be on and off. Depending on several factors, too. Indeed, there are several strategies to cope with it, but it is the reason.
Try to listen subs like your original goal. And if you're not having problems, you can continue. But if you're having problems, for example: feel uncomfortable and the next day you do not listen to E2 or or interfere with any other habit you are trying to create or quit. Consider lowering your listening time, then see if there is a problem, if not you can go on and until you feel automatic to use the E2 you can add to it little by little. Remember, till you feel automatic to listen to subs.
Lower again if you still can not. And see what happens.
