Little update on testing 6G-Alpha. It continues to impress all of us, and it is doing some things that were not expected, but they are significantly positive things. Testing will continue until at least the end of September so we can gather more data and understand what it's doing better before I start on Beta test. The actual program that will be built as Beta test has been in development since Alpha test came into testing. Development on the 6G skeleton script must wait until Alpha test is finished being tested and analyzed, so I know how to adjust and optimize the 6G skeleton script.

The good news in all this is: 6G (Alpha test) is meeting or exceeding expectations in all categories so far for 6G, and 6G testing and development is looking good and currently on schedule.
Based on what I have seen in my modeling, I have chosen to build Overcoming Premature Ejaculation this month. I have spent considerable time contemplating how to approach it this time, and I have decided to rewrite the key script from scratch. I think the concepts and goals I will be using will be much more helpful and useful than the old ones. Should be able to start on Sep 13th.
Alright... tomorrow morning at 7 am, I leave to go on vacation.  I'll be gone for I believe it was 8 days.  Thank you all for contributing enough with your support for me to go do this - I and my girlfriend deeply need it at this point.  I'll be sitting in the mountains enjoying the peace and quiet.

The goal of this vacation is for me to decompress as much and as fast as possible so I can come back and be as productive as possible to finish out this year by finishing the development of 6G and getting the first 6G-Final published before the end of the year.  I'm hoping for Oct/Nov on that, but it will depend on how long 6G-Beta testing goes and how long it takes me to finish the optimization step on the 6G skeleton script.  In any case, to decompress and rest as much as possible and as fast as possible, I will not be checking on the forums or the back end.  Ben will do his best to answer your questions while I am gone, and if he cannot answer for me, you'll have to wait until I get back.

Overcoming Premature Ejaculation is finished being scripted, and when I get back I will build and publish it.  I think this new approach (and it's a completely new approach) will make a big difference for a lot of people.

Thank you all again for your patronage and your support which allowed me to go on vacation, and I'll be back soon.  (I'll still be working until I am ready for bed tonight.)
...aaaand I'm back. Very nice time sitting in quiet and peace in the mountains.

There is lots to do. I've got errands to attend to, and forum work to catch up on before I get back to working on the subliminal, but we're going to get that built ASAP.

Let's go!

Almost forgot to report this.

6G-Alpha testing is complete. Test goals were:
1. Verify that the design of the new 6G technology actually works: PASS
2. Verify that 6G Alpha is safe to use: PASS
3. Verify that 6G-Alpha works: PASS
4. Determine if there is anything that needs to be corrected in 6G-Beta: NO

Test program primary goal: Verified and achieved by multiple testers.

6G-Alpha test overall result: PASS.

Now I am going to finish publishing OPE 5.11G and start working on developing the Skeleton Script for 6G-Beta test. The 6G-Beta test Key Script is currently under development, and is estimated to be between 50 and 90% finished. 6G-Beta test is currently expected to begin testing in November, although I will try for late October if it is possible to go that fast without compromising the quality of my work.
Almost there. Overcoming Pre-Mature Ejaculation 5.11G has a little surprise in it, also. You'll want to see this, even if you aren't experiencing PE.

Should be publishing within an hour.
I am pleased to announce the newest addition to our store, Overcoming Premature Ejaculation 5.11G. (And surprise! It's not just for men with PE!)

Currently going through some sort of weirdness that has caused my computer to experience serious difficulties for the last few days, and despite my efforts, it is still only partially functional. I have most everything working, but some important functions are mysteriously non-functional. I am working on it. But at this point, I have enough functionality to continue working.

Now developing the 6G-Beta skeleton script.
I've decided to attempt to install an entirely different distribution of Linux and attempt to re-construct my production system on top of that, since the install options I have otherwise are not working for one reason or another. Last time I tried this, I was stopped at every possible point of advance and eventually there was no way to continue. Hopefully this will not be the second time that happens. Definitely some strange things happening recently.
Still trying to fix my computer. The way this is happening and how I am magically being blocked at every turn, no matter what, tells me we're going through one of those cycles again. No idea how long this will last, but I'll keep trying everything I can find to try until something works, as usual. Bear with me.
I am still without a functional computer. Still trying to find an OS, ANY OS, that will actually boot, and does the things I need it to do in order to recover from this disaster. I've now tried 8 different Linux distros and counting.

All hardware diagnostics have revealed 0 errors from any of my hardware.

And there's a hurricane coming right for me, which is apparently currently a Category 5 in the Gulf of Mexico.

I also accidentally destroyed one of my whole-system backups because I thought there was a USB key plugged in, instead of my external drive, while trying to fix this at 3 AM. Go me.

So far, 100% of Ubuntu/Debian based Linux distros have failed, and I can't seem to get the KDE based ones to boot. The rest don't have the capacity to do what I need to do.

It's been 7 days now. My baldness is not improving with this situation. Hopefully this doesn't last much longer. There's not a whole lot left that I can try. I'm working on it, but if you don't hear from me for a while, it'll either be the hurricane or the computer or both. BBASAP.
Ok guys, Shannon messaged me and he has no power because of the hurricane. He said he won't be available on the forum for maybe 2-4 days until that changes.

But obviously that's hard to predict in this situation.

Here's hoping it all ends okay and he's back soon.

I'll delete this post when he's back so that it doesn't stay in his own locked journal, but I thought it would be seen more here.
Alright... I am back. Power is restored. We made it through the hurricanes and tornadoes, but not without some damage to the roof. That will need repairs. Fortunately, my GF and I are unharmed. Not everyone can say the same, or that they have power, or even a place to live anymore, so as bad as it has been, I am still very grateful for the fact that it has not been worse.

But things in general have gotten so bad during this cycle that it is going to take me some time to recover. I believe I have identified what is causing this, and the good news is that the cycle reached it's lowest point yesterday, so while it's a slow process for a bit, the upswing is in play now. The first order of business is regenerating my backups. They were damaged during the worst of the down cycle, which seems to have pretty closely correlated with these two recent hurricanes. I am in the process now of regenerating those backups. That will take at least 30 hours to complete.

Then tonight I am going to order a new production computer. If the bank doesn't somehow get in the way, that will require 1 to 2 weeks to get built and arrive. At that point, I begin rebuilding my production system from my backups, which - if everything goes without issue - will require at least a few more days.

This cycle is one I was hoping I would never see. It's the most damaging of them, but it happens in this case to be forcing a positive change. I am very grateful for that, since if it was a negative of this magnitude, I'd be completely screwed.

As you can see, it's taken me out of the game involuntarily for an entire month, in spite of my best efforts to the contrary. Thus, I cannot build anything this month. That would be very bad news, except I happen to have an ace up my sleeve in this particular situation. There is a program that I have been working on publishing, which was originally intended to be published as a surprise extra. It needs a little more work to the product description and the usage patterns, but it is almost ready to publish and shouldn't be too long before I can. It's not ready just yet however. I'll let you know what it is when it's ready.

In the mean time, I will be on as I can be, but the amount of time I have free for forum work may be limited in the beginning as I focus heavily on the critical steps necessary for recovering the business. Thank you all for your well wishes and support, and I hope all of you made it through this cycle, and these storms, unscathed. We will get back on our feet and get back to production here at IML, but it is not going to be an instant process. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
