Some background..
I just turned 40. Floundering between careers (currently unemployed). Celibate and not looking because I'm still pretty devastated from a breakup over a year ago. Also a recovering porn addict. It's a rough time for me.
I have just finished Stage 1 of AM 5.0
So I've finished 40 days of nightly exposure -- (8 hrs) of looped Trickling Stream/Ultrasonic Silent using an iPod with an Altec Lansing inMotion IM3 Speaker System -- rated at 60 Hz to 20 kHz.
Moving on to Stage 2 now.
STAGE 1 OBSERVATIONS
Week 1: Had intense, vivid and endless dreams every night.
Week 2: Increasing fastidiousness. Grooming better, taking care of skin, teeth better, taking care to dress better.
Weeks 3 & 4: Vivid dreams and fastidiousness gone. Some slight improvement with my procrastination issues. Waves of extreme irritability. Intense annoyance with everyone to the point of prolonged daydreaming of violence against others. Find myself choosing to stay in rather than go out because everyone annoys me so much.
Summary: I don't feel like anything is changing and frankly, at this point, I am dissatisfied with the product. Apart from feeling angry and hating people and a mild improvement in my procrastination, there is nothing to write about.
Is there a link to where Shannon describes what happens at each stage? That would be good for me to read. Maybe then I would feel like it is worth continuing.
Any thoughts from others who have gone through AM 5? What happened at Stage 1? What happened for you at Stage 2?
From reading other user journals, it seems everyone seems to at least start seeing some benefits in Stage 1.
