Allow me to correct some misunderstandings. If you meditate right before you use the sub, it should have little to no negative impact as long as you are not using the meditation as mind programming, because the sub is going to override the state after you meditate, and the meditation is only changing your state for an hour. That is okay.
BWE and the rest should be avoided. I'm not familiar enough with HeartMath yet to comment.
