Last night, a girl was acting goofy at the next table in the restaurant where I was eating. I looked at her with a grin on my face, and she said, "Oh, sorry." I fired back without hesitation, "That's OK, I just wasn't expecting dinner and a show." She replied, "You never know what you'll get when you go to Santana Row." and she had a flirty look on her face. Her boyfriend didn't seem to like it, but I didn't care.
This felt so natural and normal that I almost forgot it happened. I wasn't attracted to her, and this was not an "approach" and the PUA's would phrase it, but the whole feeling of the interaction was very relieving for me. I didn't care about her reaction, and making fun of a strange girl no longer causes me any fear, concern, doubt, or hesitation.
YES! That definitely falls under what I consider to be an alpha attitude. Girls, familiar or unknown, aren't special just for being female. I've known this consciously for a long time, but that did not change the underlying discomfort. This is a big change for me, and it feels very nice, and at the same time, like I've always been this way. And I just realized that this is exactly how Shannon described The Naturalizer working.

Fear is a liar.
