Another option would be running masked, that has lower requirements for speakers.
Third option, it’s crazy but it works for me in certain situations: wear headphones around your neck (not on your ears) and pump up the volume - that allows for all formats, is perfect stereo, it is mobile and bypasses the problem of a bad phone speaker.
