Most of the time, I put the blame on my work and business for not going out at social events to see people but I have clear memories of instances where I could have spend the whole week-end going crazy only to start being sick EXACTLY on friday night forcing me to cancel all my crazy plans...
It did happen too many times to just be a random coincidence. This didn't occur to me before now but feeling tired to the point of not wanting to go out and have fun could also be a subconscious strategy... At least good enough to fool me consciously...
I'm no expert but it seems plausible...
