Day 28,
I went to a new gym today. They offered 7 days for free. Further, for the month of September, they offer 2 free weeks when you join. It's also very close to my apartment.
I stepped on a scale in the locker room before exercising; I went from 194 lbs on August 5 -10th-ish to 179 lbs on September 8th. That makes 15 lbs in a month. This was all done through diet, with very little exercise. It's worth mentioning that I wasn't overweight before starting; but, I was eating a lot of pasta and carbs before moving to my own place. Now, it's meats, legumes, green vegetables, and cheese; not many simple carbs. Then, one day a week, it's a cheat day, where anything goes.
In any case, some of that weight loss was from muscle, since I gassed very quickly and almost passed out from this new workout routine. I was lifting much less. I bailed early, and it was the right call. Maybe eating a can of whipped cream wasn't the best idea before exercising.
