Currently in the process of restoring and recovering everything for my production environment. This is not going as smoothly or as easily as I would like, and that is no surprise given how screwed up everything has been, but at least I am making progress.

Slowly but surely getting legs sunder me to keep working.

I believe I have restored everything I need to begin doing production work again. We will be doing a test build soon. In the mean time, I am working on the description of the product I will be launching this month. So far it looks like it's going to be a rather big surprise. I have a couple more important things to do to publish it, and I'm working as fast as I can under the current circumstances.

I am finding myself struggling to be productive because the amount of work I must do exhausts my brain, but I also must spend significant time each day lately dealing with other things (appointments, errands, driving all over town chasing some goal or other). The result is that I find myself with less time and energy than I need to do everything I have to do in a given day, which leaves me mentally exhausted before I am done with what I set myself for goals in a day, which frustrates me.

I am very close to being finished with the description of the program that will be published this month and I am in the process of determining the usage patterns for it. It is currently 7:38 PM and I have already pushed myself to the absolute limits of what I can ingest of caffeine for the day without making myself sick. Yet even with my face feeling strange from being on the verge of overdose, I find my eyes melting out of my head from exhaustion.

This is in no small part due to the fact that I have returned to UMS v2 Stage 4, which demands a great deal of energy to "turn the Titanic" as it were. And boy was the Titanic off course this time. At the same time, however, I find myself only able to work for a couple or a few hours a day lately as a result of all the interruptions and exhaustion. Having my neighbor decide to re-roof his house and waking us up several hours earlier than normal in the process did not help today either.

But... I will be trying hard to publish the new program on October 24th, 2024. This program was originally not going to be published at all, but I have determined that it will be of significant interest to a number of you. I also don't have anything else I can build and publish in time after this absolute disaster of a month. So it will get published.

As far as I can tell, everything is ready for a test build to verify all production systems and sub-systems are go.

I know some of you are wanting me to build one or more specific titles in another direction. Unfortunately, since the two cycles we are in (Uranus) and coming out of (Pluto) have absolutely destroyed my carefully crafted plans for this entire month of October 2024, I no longer have time or freedom to build what I want until we get back on track. Therefore, my first priority must be publishing something this month, followed by spending the first two weeks of November 2024 developing the 6G-Beta skeleton script, and then spending the 2nd two weeks of November building and testing the 6G-Beta test platform.

During that third and fourth week of November, I will also be attempting to build and publish something for the store. Whatever title that is must meet some very strict criteria, including that I must be able to develop it quickly without sacrificing quality; it must be as fast as possible for me to build; and it must be something that will be of interest to many of you. The best I have been able to come up with that fits those criteria is Manifest Your Ideal Sexual Lover. So I will attempt, in this mad dash to catch up after having my plans trashed, to build and publish that as well during November. Please have mercy upon me while I try to do all this in just one month.

So I am discovering all the little "gotchas" left to iron out as I finish this setup for publishing this title. It *should* be published within a couple hours... but we shall see. I already am going to have to repeat multiple steps in the preparation, including upload, as I apparently overlooked some things I thought I had done, but hadn't.

Also, this new flavor of Linux has some odd defaults for some of the programs, like the tagger I use, which have to be figured out and changed. But I am confident it will be published today.

Here's an example of the ridiculousness I have been dealing with all month. This is a very minor example.

My mp3/audio tagger of choice, EasyTag, started off refusing to allow me to navigate to the directory where the audio files were. I had to find configuration settings and change them to point to where those files were.

When I do that and make the changes, it refuses to write them, because it claims not having permissions. When I open the file manager, the files are all owned by me and all the folders are owned my me, and I have read/write permissions.

Then I notice that the directory tree starts with /user, not /home. It references "user 1000" instead of "shannon" and it seems to be accessing the files from a very strange alternate route. I am unable to figure out how to get this to stop so my best guess is, I get to start using a new file tagger.

So tired of all these stupid little failures.

Alright... I believe I have all the issues resolved. Now uploading the files for the second time...

When it's uploaded, I'll give one more check to make sure everything is correct, and when it is, I will be publishing.

Naturally, attempting to upload all the files only worked when they were not suitable for publishing. Now that they are, I am forced to upload one at a time. Almost finished.

Alright... finally, hours late, I am pretty sure it's ready to publish. So... it's live. Go get it! Have fun finding it. And if you find any errors, let me know.

Currently developing the script for Manifest Your Ideal Sexual Lover 5.11G, because I cannot yet work on 6G for the lack of one specific variable at the moment.

This script is a lot more intricate and complex than the scripts I was using for manifestations in 3-4-5G. I have spent a lot of time making it work in spite of conscious, subconscious, intentional or unintentional efforts at self sabotage. This doesn't give you a free pass to try to sabotage it, of course, but for those who really want to achieve the goal of the program, it should allow the program to be much more successful than it might have been otherwise.

Once I get this script finished, it is a matter of changing the specific goal of the manifestation and rebuilding the program to have a new title. That said, I'll be building this one in 5.11G and probably not another manifestor until 6G has been published and the first however many titles have been published in it.

In 6G this means I may be able to make between 2 and 4 of these per month. So when the time comes for me to work on manifestors in 6G, we should be able to build out the library of them relatively quickly.

Today was the day we ran the build verification test to see if the new production system is restored to functional capacity.

I now have Manifest Your Ideal Sexual Lover 5.11G sitting on my hard drive. This new system is significantly faster than the previous one (of course, since it's 6 years newer), and is quite a pleasure to work with. If only it didn't sound like a passenger jet taking off while it is processing the audio. I think I can live with that, though.

Saturday and Sunday I will be busy, but this program will be published very soon. Then I'll begin working on 6G-Beta.

Between the improvement in processor speed, processor core count, RAM, hard drive speed and the optimization of the build process in 6G I think this is going to make building significantly faster.

Now that the unforeseen disruptions have (hopefully) finished, I can finish getting this program published. I have to finish writing and editing it, select an image and calculate usage patterns. Hoping that I can do this all and get this published today or tomorrow.
