I forgot to mention that last night, I've been offered an extra work day; up until now, I've been working 4 days. This 5th day adds an extra 15K to my salary. It's a welcome offer, but I'll have to drive two hours both ways to get to the site.
My sister got a new job, which was with the company I left for my current job. We both worked under this narcissistic supervision, and I'm glad she's out. She even gets to work from home a lot of the time.
I haven't been lifting very often, and I felt muscle soreness from a pretty bad lifting session from two days ago. I went to the gym today, and squatted decently (235 lbs * 3 reps), did a decent deadlift (295 lbs * 3 reps), and dumbbell pressed (80 lbs*2 * 4 reps) more than I have in a long while.
I've done better in the past, but I'm impressed because it's been a while since I've been working on these exercises.
It's been 15 days since I've stopped using MLS.
I've been using MIR for the past 2 days or so; tonight will be my third night.
I've gotten sick twice in the past two months; wondering how much has to do with current detoxing, if any. I do work in the health field, so that must have something to do with it, too. It was at its worst this morning. The manager strongly suggested I go home early, so I made sure to get my work done.
Did a debrief on the 4 daily activities I need to stay on top of; did vocals 84% of days, guitar practice on 68%, acting practing during 45% of days, and reading from my book list on 68%.
This flu has escalated; it's all in the front of my face; my focus is affected only a little bit, so is my memory. It's my nose, mouth, and throat that are giving me problems.
In any case, if MIR is working, I have no idea what kind of hurt I would have been in without it.
Either that, or I started to play it too late into the symptoms.
17 days since I've last used MLS.
I feel as though I've hit another level with my guitar playing.
Despite having the flu, I've put in a collective 8+ hours of guitar playing over the last 2 days. I've been able to play passages smoothly where I used to make a mistake or two. As a result of smoothing over my riffs, I'm achieving a type of feel. It's beginning to sound like a professional an increasing amount of time.
18 days since last using MLS.
Been patiently waiting for DMSI. Shannon did say 3 weeks (21 days), so I hope that there will be some big news/releases dropping this week.
Have still been recovering from the flu; it's gotten much better. I can still tell that I'm sick, but I'm back to where I was on Monday night; I was feeling a little under the weather, knowing that I would be sick. Maybe one more good night's sleep for fix this problem for good.
20 days since last using MLS,
Still using MIR; became so tired and brain drained after work that I passed out for 1.5 hours.
Awaiting my iHerb package; it should come tomorrow, though I'll be away until Wednesday. I really want my water purifier to come as well.
24 days since last using MLS,
Low motivation today, but I have a yearning to start writing my book. All I've really done is practice guitar. Still can't practice voice, given the remnants of my flu.
However, my essential oils and my Berkey water purifier both came in yesterday. And so, I've been having fun in assembling the filter and putting together essential oil mixes and tinctures. The water tastes different; it's almost like... nothing at all! In a glass bottle, you see right through the liquid. It's cool.
I've been able to mix soap with ginger, thyme and cinnamon essential oils in order to create an exfoliant. I've have to order Dead Sea Mud and Salt, and maybe a shower filter, by the end of the month (once I've counted my shekels for the month).
I'll be able to do the salt water flush the proper way, starting tomorrow.
27 days since using MLS,
I've been doing the salt water flush for three consecutive days with my purified water. And I've got to say... the first day wasn't very impressive, days two and three have shown me that it does work.
It works especially well if you add 1/4 tsp of baking soda, and a small scoop of xeolyte.
I've added baking soda and turmeric to it.. not sure what xeolyte is but i'll look it up.
Also squeeze some lemon juice into it from a fresh lemon, the taste was almost unbearable for me until I did that. And still then the thought of it from forcing it down the first few times without lemon still turns me off it a bit.
EDIT - Do you mean zeolite?
Turmeric is disgusting and I will never use that again LOL
Screw this waiting. I'm going to run BASE Stage 7 for the time being.
Been running BASE for the past 5 days. Have been very productive since Monday.
Decided to start the 100 Day Challenge to blast through my second book.
Been writing since Monday, after work and a lot of today, and I've written just about 18K words. I'll be going further tonight; the night is young.
Yesterday, I woke up at 4:45 am to get a city 2 hours away for work. I went to bed at 8:30 pm from being so tired. Slept about 13 hours, and felt ready to go around 9:20 am.
I've gotten the idea of buying of delivery van, and of re-purposing it into one of those live-in RVs with nice decoration, and all the bases covered. That's something that I'm connecting the purpose of my book to (i.e. once I'm finished my book, I can look into that).
I'm given myself the idea of going on vacation somewhere nice once I finish this book. Or, if I'm fast enough, it might be a trip to do after I finish book #3. Or after I've combined them all (which won't just be about copying and pasting). Who knows?
Anyways, back to writing. Put in 5211 words so far.
Edit: Put in a total of 8356 words today. This is exciting.
I've totaled at just under 21 K words in 6 days!
Exciting stuff. Will shut down a bit today, play some guitar, go to bed and repeat this process. Might try to hit 28-30 K words. Tomorrow is Day #7 of my project, so that's excellent headway; took me 12 days to get 20K for book #1; I effectively doubled my productivity as a writer. Further, I think I'll know when to stop writing and when to start reading and researching more.
