Day 20,

Decent day at work. I'm about to go to bed.
Made some progress with my charting of the album I want to learn start to finish,
Also stopped Jeremy Bentham's book; it split hairs to no end, and did not really provide foundational principles like I expected it would. I've started a book called 'Criminal Law in Canada', and I'm about 20 pages in. It's pretty interesting.
Day 22,

I'm about 45 pages / 370 out of the Criminal Law book.
I've also decided to sign up for Jiu Jitsu/Muay Thai at my local gym.

My day at work was not very productive. Meh.
Just realized that there are 10 5.5 G subliminals.

Further: Maybe I should go back to running BASE before DMSI 3.2? Furthermore, I might just ship early. This is just a thought. However, since I keep thinking about money, and I'm feeling less motivated to go out and get money, I should sort myself out.

On the other hand, I have a couple of side projects where MLS is most useful. I have to discipline myself to continue subliminals that I'm currently listening to.
Day 25,

I had a strange nightmare; had a dream where I made friends with a woman through AirBnB, but her boyfriend was a mob boss. I go back home, she comes to visit, and her mob bf drove up the driveway with his friends, with guns. Before he came to knock on the door, I woke up after 3.5 hours and couldn't fall back asleep.

I had to take more melatonin before eventually falling asleep and waking up after a total of 10.5 hours.
Day 26,

Alright day at work. I've been having this weird sore throat, where I don't feel backed up or congested or phlegm-y. Only sometimes, it hurt to swallow my own saliva, and for the past 48 hours, my vocal range has been cut to 1/3rd or 1/2nd of what it normally. And I kept the lowest part of my voice, plus a couple of deeper notes; and so, at its worst, I would sound like James Earl Jones (not a bad problem to have!)

Not a productive day today, though.

Debating over a 100$ gift for my 5 distant cousins when I visit for Christmas. I'm thinking that it's not a wasted expense, just considering the positive emotions that can come of it. That's worth the money. Plus, I have many other 100$s at my disposal (thankfully), and only these relationships that I can foster. It's not the numerical value; more that it's a pretty unique gift.
Day 28,

I notice that 24 hours into each work trip, I start to feel toxic and drained. It's probably not a coincidence that it's after the night I skip a lot of my detox supplements.

A noticeable improvement in guitar playing; smoother and easier. Memorization is not any easier right now.

I've also learned that I shouldn't overuse moroccan oil for my hair; once every couple of weeks is plenty. It can plug your scalp pores. Same with hard water, which I think is what's pumping in my shower water. I'm soon going to be buying a shower filter. Magnesium oil, between showers, can remove calcium deposits.

Before, when stepping out of the shower, I could see a whole bunch of my scalp through my hair strands. After this shower, having used magnesium oil, it's much much better; back to what I remember.

I have my eye set on a vocal program that has promising claims. I'll look into picking it up once my voice actually clears up. It's still groggy and cut in half.
Day 29,

About 1/3 through my second run. This one is flying by very quickly.

Guitar playing ability actually feels secure, and the parts I considered impossible a few years ago is within grasp, but hit-and-miss. I feel that daily practice is building up momentum, and it's accelerating.

My voice is still out; I can't sing above my chest voice; my other registers just go breathy and die out.

For the New Year's themed resolution/100 Day Challenge, I want to focus hard on my singing.
Day 30,

Exactly 1/3 of the way through. I'm debating about cutting it off at New Year's so that I'm more focused on executing and creating content instead of practicing.
Guitar playing has been getting better; everything feels easier and requiring less thought. I'll have to start practicing while standing. It feels as though guitar playing can be compared to the number of 'chunks' you can group all the notes under. The better you know the material, the more notes make up a chunk that your fingers know how to play. The fewer chunks you need to know, the less you have to think about playing while actually playing.

I have to go into work for a half-day to make up for the half-day I took off yesterday. That means that I'll be going to bed a bit sooner than usual for a Friday night.
Day 31,

Meh day. Went in to work for a half-day to make up for lost hours. It went well.
Don't have a great deal to say, though I did a lot of things.
I'm still sick from 9 days ago. It started with a throat thing, where I lost my voice, and devolved into a productive cough. I don't feel weak or faint, but my cough preoccupies my time.

I could have used MIR, and I likely will next time, but it didn't have an obvious peak that made me decide to do it.
Day 32,

Alright day. Woke up at 5 am coughing. I had to cough out phlegm, then I was able to sleep in until 12:30 pm. My acting class was cancelled, so I spent time reading a new book called 'Argumentative Rhetoric', which I think will provide a very useful.

Have been feeling nihilistic recently; there's a never-ending reservoir of suffering coming from the nature alone, and human beings seem more than willing to contribute to this reservoir.
Sigh... I'll probably wind up buying/using MIR today.
This damn cough/throat issue has been persistent for 10 days now.
Day 33,

The cough/cold was bad in the morning, but nothing I couldn't handle throughout the day.
At this point, I think that I'll be buying MIR the next time I start to get a gnarly cold/cough again. I made the mistake of thinking that it was localized to my voice alone.

I'm at the tail-end, so it's manageable at this point.

Did BJJ today, and I (as a 3-striped white belt) rolled against the (brown belt) instructor at the end of class as a welcome. He was definitely holding back, and keeping me in compromised positions to see how I would respond. He was much heavier, too, which made the match more skewed in his favor. I was surprised at how I could recognize his patterns and make counter-moves that occasionally worked defensively. I wasn't sweeping him or doing anything outrageous, but I was preventing some serious advances on his part. He commented on how my guard retention is 'abnormal' or 'abnormally good' (I forget). I'm probably overstating it.
Day 34,

Underslept. Will be going to bed at 8:15 pm instead of my usual time in order to catch up on sleep.
