Thanks dude! Its so exciting!
I really dont give a f word anymore. Not in a sad hopeless way, but a strong powerful way.
I should elaborate more on that last post I guess. I just do not give a crap about the teachers at school anymore. When I was not on these subs I would be nervous about messing up and getting yelled at by them. Im so indifferent to there opinions. Im struggling to even go to school everyday because my view is that its a waste of time. Its just memorizing random meaningless facts and making sure that you are nice, passive, and afraid of what will happen if you try to do anything that goes against popular opinion. I used to be motivated by fear of what people thought of me if I did not have good grades. Thats over. Another thing that used to motivate me is college. Now that ive decided that college is not for me I am really unmotivated.
I agree Alec. It's something I wouldn't usually say to people still at school but you are aware of it yourself. Basically they just want you to fit in.

I was watching a documentary on Bombay Beach/Slab City and one of the kids there they were giving him a massive amount of drugs to 'calm him down' when basically he was doing what a kid does like run around and such.

And the drugs gave him this seizure and he couldn't talk or move for a while. And the neurologist was just like "oh I can't tell you to take him off the behavioural meds". And I was like "what the fuck, don't you see the damage your doing to him".

It used to be ADD when I was at school, now it's something else, but the name slips my mind right now. Basically if you don't fit in and listen to them you get diagnozed and given drugs.

What bs.

That sums it up nicely, that is an awesome awareness that not many people at your age have. But try not to get too far into the negativity of it as that can be harmful. What positive things can you do with these realizations? (just to get you thinking).

Yea that is exactly how it is Ben. I had no idea there's a new name for ADD. I had add and adhd growing up that that's self diagnosed. my ADD was more apparent but my parents were like "no you do not need medication. you'll do just fine." My parents were smart and I'm grateful for that. I've used the medication before when a friend gave me some for studying for exams etc and I do not like it. It did not help me and I can't see how it helps anyone. it actually just made me more anxious. Isn't that the opposite effect of what's intended??
Regardless, Alec, until you at least graduate highschool, or whatever your local equivalent is where you are, you need to stick with school. A GED isn't as useful as a HS diploma, and a HS diploma is already expected. Unless you have a plan in place and you are successfully working it to replacing that path with something else, stick with school. It may be ridiculous what they expect you to do for a piece of paper, but that piece of paper really does mean something, even if it doesn't seem like it now.

You see college dropouts who go on to become millionaires, but high school or middle school dropouts? Not so much.
Let Success be your Friend ALec then when you get to a certain level fuck it man do what chew want, but Shannon is right fella, get at least yer HS diploma and then think about some college if not all the way thru for the 4 years it takes. I felt thee exact same way you to when I was in my late teens man,by 7th grade I felt I'd learned all I was going to learn in traditional public schools, I perservered thru it all, got MY HS Diploma, ect later went on to college. IM sooo glad I did, trust me its opened many a door of opportunity Alec. IM now 54,but back then I couldn't see it all.MY Mother encouraged me to finish it all and Im soo glad she did and I did it,Man! So please for your future's sake young fella get at least yer HSD Man!
I came here tonight to read some more of yer experiences with OF..which by the way F****King FLOORED Me Man,it was sooo inspiring. honestly. I don't say it unless I mean it !
Success is a bitch to fears, when you get to a certain level, THEN YOU can tell them all to Kiss your ass do WTF YOU want too Man,takes time young man. in the meantime do what is nessasary to get there and I Know you can do it! You've got the power and courage to do so. "Sing on Brother Play on Drummer"-Jimi Hendrix. Keith

Wow, your parent's are awesome. It's good they didn't put you on all those drugs. Yeah it's funny it make you more anxious, I can just see those drugs screwing kids up and not helping them.

It's not another name for ADD really, it's something like having no social awareness and such and they named it and apparently diagnoze it all the time now. My FB has talked about it because of her brother.

Ok I finally found it on google Asperger Syndrome.

-Ben
There seems to be a lot of confusion about Asperger's. It has nothing to do with ADD. People with Asperger's have a very different social awareness, as I understand it.
Thank you for the comments and input guys. Smile

While I think school is annoying. Dropping out of high school is not an option. Im a junior, I got like a year and a half to go. I gotta stick with it. Its kinda wierd how you guys think the same ways as I do. Usually when I bring up this disussion in my life adults just dissmiss me or get annoyed.

When you have dreams it is something is being released right? I think I just had a dream about fear of change. So I was just wondering if the program is working on it or something.
Dreams mean you're focusing on processing something, usually. It has to be processed to be dealt with, and it has to be dealt with to be either integrated (learning something) or released. Dreams can be many other things as well, but for your question, that's the gist of it.

Oh sorry I didn't mean it was connected to ADD. It's just that it is apparently the new thing that is being prescribed to alot of kids now. My fb has talked about it alot cos her kid is in school and her brother has it and something else.

Yeah it's definately worth finishing. Dreams are interesting, i've had some cool and crazy dreams during subs but yeah usually they are related to something being worked on.
