I don't know what it is... but every Microsoft product I have ever used, shy of one mouse, has always, every time, inevitably made me regret using it.

Windows, XBox, Microsoft hardware, does not seem to matter. I always have problems with Microsoft products. And Windows as I have had a hate-hate relationship for more than 20 years now. I used to work in IT, and got out specifically because of Microsoft Windows.

Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Netware, pretty much any other OS I have ever used has been fine... aside from how Apple's offerings, which have struck me as being designed to limit people too much for them to make mistakes and the result is that they are limited too much to accomplish whatever it is they are trying to do with the damned computer.

So that's why I don't like Microsoft products. They hate me, and I have grown to hate them.

Ironically, Microsoft puts out some damned good hardware. But their software always screws it up. Maybe that's why that mouse and I got along. lol

Dinner last night with my folks and son. Steakhouse with a beautiful hostess and really good looking servers. The women who go there to eat are frequently beautiful as well. Lots of good opportunities to evaluate interest from multiple women.

Our waitress came to the table, and at first I thought she was a little big - but all in the right places. I love a nice rack. Check. Then she took my drink order, and she had the most alluring hazel eyes. Something was going on, b/c whenever she came to the table, she posed with a hand on the table, chest & hips framed directly toward me, other hand on her hips. She looked at everyone else, but framed her body toward me, every time.

We were in direct sight of the line at the kitchen. I noticed another hot waitress, and she noticed me. I saw her eyeing the line often, and when not eyeing the line she eyed me. When our food came up, she snatched it and brought it over to us. It's like she was just waiting for it to come up and beat our own waitress to it so she could come over to our table. She leaned in really close to me while setting my plate down.

On our way out, the hostess - the most beautiful girl in the building, IMO - smiled brightly at my son and kept looking back-and-forth from him to me. The smile never left her face. Gorgeous.

At home, played my loops, hybrid .FLAC direct-wired to speaker, -30 dB US/-50 dB masked. Speaker about 15 feet away.

I watched a few shows while listening, and had some mild activity in my extremities. Wasn't the crazy energy buzzing from before, I must just be getting used to it.

Slept for a good 8 hours, and woke up wanting to sleep more, but couldn't b/c my son was awake. I feel like a volcano ready to blow. Anger/irritability bubbling just below the surface like boiling hot magma. It's going to be 80 degrees today, and I'm just pissed off about it b/c I want to enjoy it, but I feel like I don't want to do anything. Hope this feeling goes away soon.

Went on a trip with wife and son for an overnight. Did this same trip last year on E2.

Had a few beers at dinner, wife didn't give me any shit about it. That's rare.

Next morning, got in a bad - near relationship ending - argument. She said some things to me that felt like parenting, not to mention threatening - I don't do well with ultimatums - and I got so angry I made a few hurtful comments (really hurtful comments) - and she said she was done with me. I really believed her. We got through it by end-of-day, but things probably won't be good for awhile.

Took my son to the pool at the hotel. As I was getting into the hot tub, I biffed it and fell pretty hard. That top step was like stepping on slime. Have a bone bruise on my left leg, jammed my right pinky finger, scraped my left elbow and hand, pulled a muscle near my right shoulder blade. There goes going to the gym or running for the next few days.

Been listening to the hybrid at a very low volume with earphones the last few days, just to see what happens. Last night I had my first purely sexual DMSI dream. I even had my dick out, and some woman was spread wide to take it. The women in my dreams on DMSI are usually brunette, for whatever reason. Anyway, if I'd ever had a dream like that, it's been a long time, or I don't remember them.

I also, consciously, can't conceive of why my subconscious would lay plans to manifest a conflict, say something like I said to "end" the relationship, when there are so many other avenues to achieve the goal with a path-of-least/lessor-resistance. Trust me, the fallout from this would have been path-of-most-resistance.

Well, you also have to remember that this program is making massive changes to your internal landscape. I've been clashing with a lot of old friends lately too, and I found it a bit confusing at first. I feel like I'm not really treating them any differently than I normally would, other than the fact that SOMETHING just seems a little bit off. Of course, the reality bending and the naturalizer, et. al. is designed to keep you from realizing the massive changes so you won't resist it.

Then, I began to really dwell on the situation... here's how I see it. I fell in love with San Diego when I moved there. I love the place. It's amazing and I really found myself and who I was when I lived there. I love the people. I love the sights. I love the diversity between the neighborhoods -- from the laid back, yet edgy chillness of North Park to the frantic, hyper-sexuality of the Gaslamps District.

However, NONE of my friends -- both personal and work buddies -- live in San Diego anymore. If I went back, though the landscape is the same, the energy, the essence and the VIBE would be totally different.

The San Diego I loved has gone. Because it wasn't just the place. It's also the people and the memories -- the inner landscape, that made it MY San Diego.

DMSI is drastically changing who you are, even if you don't consciously realize it yet. And it's possible that your wife is picking up on that and it's causing friction. And not to "rub anything in your face," but Shannon warned you that this could happen, and you told him that you had it under control. And Shannon warned again that you would be in danger by running the later versions. I haven't posted a journal in a few days (super busy), but I've had some DRASTIC internal results and some cool external ones and at one point I began to think about you (and everyone else in a relationship), wondering how in the world they would fare if they kept going.
