Stupid Question: Why does volume matter if the track is silent and how can I tell that I am actually hearing it?

Ultrasonic format is made by using a technique called "pitch differencing", which takes the audio to be made subliminal and adjusts its pitch until it is too high for the conscious mind to make sense of, but the subconscious can still comprehend it.

Sound which is above the range of normal human hearing.  There is a small window of the low ultrasonic which can be used to make a sound perceptible to the subconscious while the conscious cannot tell what it is.  This area is used to subliminalize the script audio of an ultrasonic subliminal to make it subliminal. Technically, that creates a "supraliminal" (above the threshold) instead of a "subliminal" (below the threshold), but most people know it as a "subliminal".

This file is designed to help you determine whether or not your speakers meet the minimum requirements for playing our ultrasonic subliminals, which require a minimum upper frequency response of 20 kHz from your speakers.

If you can play this 30 second file all the way through and hear the sound rise in pitch through the whole 30 seconds without hearing statc, crackling, or anything but the sound (or apparent silence, as most people will hear after about the 20 second mark), your speakers pass muster for playing the ultrasonic subliminal formatted tracks.

Day 2 - 4 loops of 35min using ultrasonic w/ 11 clicks volume and max volume on VLC.  5 on 1 off.

Not sure if the volume on VLC matters as its not stated in the instruction, however wanted to ensure it was playing as ultrasonic is silent.  I can hear a faint noise when holding the phone very close to my head.

I am beginning to feel slight heat eminating from my skull and chest.

Nothing major to report yet.  

In regard to the things that must be avoided:

Artificial pheromones -> stopped

Drugs -> none

Alcohol -> stopped 

nicotine -> stopped 

caffeine -> stopped (including morning coffee)

shower schedule -> trying to accomplish every third day, however this is the most difficult as I workout daily and the only days this feel attainable are the days I work from home.  I am hybrid home/office.

How important is the every third day rule, especially if I am using traditional shower products and deodorant (Dr. Squatch).

What are the affects if any of the non-prescription stuff are used breifly either before or after the loops but not during?

Basically, I want to ensure I follow the directions as accurately as possible.

Appreciate any feedback and will continue to update as I keep pushing.  I have a strong feeling MAJOR progress and execution will be made with this version after not accomplishing the script goals of previous DMSIs.

Volume matters because it determines the part and or level of the subconscious most reactive to the audio.  The track is not silent, but an adult can usually not hear the ultrasonic audio, so we call it "silent".  You can tell you are hearing it by getting results, or by testing the volume of the audio on a volumetric playback meter.  For example, part of how I do quality control checks is to load it into Reaper (which I use to make it) and then play it and observe the volume meter for each channel.  This will tell me if the audio is correct.  You can use Audacity for this also.  Spectral analysis will also reveal the pitch by volume.

You cannot use this unless you're playing it from your phone.  Avoid player apps that have volume controls inside the app itself because then you have two volume settings and I have no way to specify what the correct volume is anymore.  

You also absolutely cannot use it at any volume other than that specified in the instructions and expect it to work. You're doing what a lot of people new to ultrasonic subliminals do, you're trying to max out the volume because you think it's not going to work otherwise since you cannot hear it consciously.  Maxing out the volume will produce the effect of having the instructions screamed at your subconscious by the equivalent of an insane drill sergeant who is pushing too hard, and you will get poor results at best, and at worst, you'll get either reverse resistance or start experiencing severe headaches as your subconscious seeks to do ANYTHING to get the screaming to stop.

It is helpful to maximize your pheromonal output without smelling bad.

That depends on what you're referring to.  Anything that alters your brainwave state is going to degrade or destroy the effects of the subliminal's state shifting and autopilot scripting.
