I see the discount offer under the Course Content tab. Perhaps make a post under the Announcement tab, as well, to highlight your offer - I really don't think it'll be obnoxious. Under the Course Content tab, some people who would be interested might accidentally gloss over the link to the PDF.
I thought you were easily in your late 30's or early-to-mid 40's! You carry yourself in a very mature manner.
