The best thing you can do is verbalize what they are doing.
"So you're mad at me because YOU think I'm better than you are? Cause that sounds like a fucking stupid reason to be upset with me. It's not my fault that YOU think I'm better than you are."
When you call them out by pointing out what they are doing, it destroys their attack because it destroys their validity in attacking.
Push back hard enough to stand your ground when you have to. You deserve respect.
Not saying your choice was wrong, but you deserve to be respected. Do what it takes to maintain the level of respect you choose to have.
