Indigo Mind Labs came from Andrew and I trying to find a way to express a concept that we were trying to express. Indigo is a color associated with deep knowledge and wisdom, and I work with the mind. I work in a laboratory. The concept was that the work I am doing is exceptional, and is based on a lot of research, experimentation and development, which results in unusual understanding, knowledge and wisdom regarding how to do this. The research, experimentation and development never ends, so the expertise, understanding and depth of knowledge and skill is always increasing.
Only several years later did I have someone claim that I am an "indigo adult" and therefore, I have an "Indigo Mind". So if that is true, it would make sense that my lab is "Indigo Mind Labs". I hadn't thought of that at that time.
Interesting. I thought it might be associated with the concept of “Indigo Children”. Maybe that’s what that person you mentioned was talking about. I prefer your meaning, though.
