I wonder, do the cycles affect how effective subliminals work for the user?

Of course.  Some cycles more than others.  Some people more than others.  But it's usually not enough to make a big difference.

Can you recommend any books or websites to look more into what you wrote? Seems important to at least understand what is happening.
