Crazy day on the forum. I think I'll stick to updating my journal.
Went to a movie with my mom. I've seen it before. "Mother" by Darren Arronofsky. I didn't like it as much this time. There are some scenes that I just find deplorable. I've never understood film makers intentionally making scenes that are off-putting like that. I felt the same about "Se7en". Horrible movie. As if there isn't enough shit in the world. Anyhow, noticed slight celebrity effect with the guys working at the theatre. The one guy wouldn't stop giving me EC. Even after the movie as we were leaving. Then, we also stood outside the theatre and the guy left cause they closed up. Same thing. Strong EC from him. Anyhow, earlier in the day I did sales. Went to a house I had gone to before and had set an appointment for them, The first time I went there, the guy was barely interested. The woman took over and I set the app with her. This time, the guy did all the talking and had his arm on the door blocking his wife from being able to come see me. It was subtle but it was a definite block. I felt drawn to the woman and she smiled at me a lot. Almost like we had a slight but instantaneous bubble going on. Not like that helps my sales, however. Other than that, a few weird reactions at the door. I'm definitely subcommunicating something different than I have been, based on the reactions.

Super motivated lately. Reading a lot of Tony Robbins. Committed to following through with the books this time.
Last time I was reading Tony Robbins was just before I got into sales and exploded success-wise. As per my usual pattern: I then stopped. I figure that's one of the reasons why my results have stopped. We'll see. ION went to the gym. Didn't notice anything from girls. Was too focused on having a good workout. But I hurt my back as I was doing one of the exercises. It's crazy how whenever I get super motivated I do something to hurt myself. I don't think it's self sabotage, I just think the "motivated" state is not a productive state for me. It may get my feet moving but it's not very cautious. Had the same thing in sales years ago. I was SO motivated to do good in sales but my results suffered. It's weird. Don't know why that is.

Me too; I get excited, and then within two weeks I'll sick or within the month I'll have minor tear somewhere that'll last me several months to recover from. Right now its my shoulder. Even if it feels like a minor thing, it seems to require full rest to recover from. Discouraging.
Thoughts, opinions and beliefs subject to change without prior notice.

It makes me think getting motivated is the wrong way to go about change. I think it's better to just do what's necessary without all the "YEAH! LET'S DO THIS! RAWR!" element. Don't know how else to describe it. So I went to the doctor and he says it doesn't matter if it's a muscle strain or a disc problem, the treatment is the same: rest till it feels better. So I got a note and will be taking time off work. Back still hurts this morning, especially when walking.

Some thoughts and DMSI Notables ahead:
- Did sales. Nothing, despite being "on point". As I've mentioned before, "on point" is usually a bad state for me. I think after a year of trying to do things the "right" way I can say that it doesn't work for me, and probably never will. It doesn't mean I'm throwing the baby out with the bathwater, but I AM going to focus more on what works from now on, and just f*cking do that. Books, opinions, advice, are all just guesses. Unless it produces results, it's worthless. - To that end, PLEASE, for the love of humanity, Shannon, PLEASE make DMSI help the user be aware of and sensitive to what women ACTUALLY respond to, not what PUA's, gurus, new-agers, "naturals", or anyone else who's "good" with women says. I've tried dozens of "ways" including some advocated by some on this very forum (not going to mention names!), including some tonight/today, that simply do not work for me or lead to nothing substantial. - I'll get to that in a second, first lets have a notable that I think is important to mention: So I was at a gas station and the girl working the register I've seen her before. Countless times. Anyhow, as I'm leaving she says "How are you?" (never asked me this, not to mention it's odd since I'm leaving that she asks me this. Clearly DMSI sniping her and this was an approach :o ) So I stop and I'm like "not bad, how are you?" She says "I'm good." I'm like "Awesome! Well... have a great weekend!" and I wave, she smiles and says "you too!" and waves back. I leave. Then I get in my car and I'm looking on my phone for some reason, then this hot girl walks past my car into the gas station and I'm like "should I go after her to talk to her?" then I'm like "nah, that would be ME approaching HER. i.e. Me seducing HER." So that was odd. If I'm honest, I would have liked to f*ck her, but because she doesn't approach me I can't? How f*cked up is that? That's a reason to make DMSI a seducer sub, imo. Why should we play the VICTIM to circumstance in this regard? I honestly don't get that. But I digress. - Ok, so now another moment. I was at Denny's with my cousin. We were talking about sales (man alive, SO good to talk about things I'm actually passionate about with someone who is passionate about it too!!). Our waitress was an arabic woman. 7/10. Gread ass, small tits (I think). She seemed indifferent to me for a while till I made more effort to thank her and smile (!). Eventually, I asked her what was on her hand (she had designs on her hand() she said it's Henna. I'm like "what's that?" she tells me what it is. Then she's like "Just google 'Henna'. Here..." then writes the name of it down on my receipt lol. So I learned some things about her, was curious, showed interest in her WORLD not just her body and... nothing. She waved at me as we left. Laaaaammmmmmeeeee. I was expecting her to be all like "ooh, who is this guy who likes me for myself not just my body" but nah. Just another bland interaction. So in that "N=1" instance, 'it' didn't work. I think making a connection is good, but honestly, I know SO much about my hairdresser and her inner world and life now that I could be her psychologist. She ain't f*cking me, however, so that IS NOT IT!! Something else makes women wanna F*CK a guy, and it ain't being interested in THEM, not imo. So, there it is. I said it. Cue the flaming. Time for bed.

Doing D2D this morning.
As I'm walking, I see a guy in the distance walking towards me on the opposite side of the street. He then crosses the street and is coming straight towards me. At first I get nervous and think "what is this, a shakedown?" but as we get closer he nods and says hi. I timidly say "hi" in return. As I continue walking I'm thinking to myself that he looked familiar. I then think it may have been the doctor I had when I went in for my back. :o I don't know what he'd be doing in that part of town, tho, because it's far away from the hospital I went to. I find it odd that it is, actually him. BUT, why did he cross the street to say hi to me then? Or maybe he just crossed the street coincidentally and said hi just because. I dunno. It kinda weirded me out and made me think I gotta be ready for those kinds of things. Because if it WAS that doctor, I could have been more friendly and said "yeah I bought that book you recommended and the back is doing a lot better thanks for all your help. I didn't know you lived all the way over here, etc" Just be more aware of people and more friendly towards them in general.

Got some good things to report :o
So I've been reading "Awaken the Giant Within" by Tony Robbins. Great book so far. Not a magic pill but I'm noticing some things. First, just now, I was about to go to bed when I realized my MP3 player was still in the car. I'm in my pajamas and am tired, worn out, stressed, etc. I was like "F*ck it! I'll just not listen tonight. It's not doing anything anyways, etc etc" Then I was like "at least I'll read some of Tony's book, then go to sleep." Well that seemed to trigger me to enforce standards on myself because I stopped, got out of bed, went to the car, grabbed the MP3 player, then came back. Secondly, been thinking a lot about my limiting beliefs. I keep trying to debunk them and keep coming up with mountains of evidence to support them. But now, I'm looking at each individual piece of evidence under a microscope to see if it's really valid or just cherry-picked or over-generalized to fit my agenda. I like this new way of thinking. Gotta keep the momentum.

Suggestion for DMSI 3.2:
"There are certain laws, like gravity, that we have to take into consideration in everything we do. The law of gravity is not a personal opinion. It does not function depending on whether or not you believe in it. Gravity works all the time, everywhere, for everyone, under all conditions, without exception. The laws of human nature are the same. We do not try to change the unchangeable. We may attempt to modify them in ourselves and others or direct them into positive channels, but intelligent people accept these inevitable and unavoidable characteristics and behaviours and take them into consideration in everything they say and do." - "Something for Nothing" by Brian Tracy. Keep it in mind.

I have a theory as to how Shannon's subs work, but I won't share it out of respect to him.
However, if they work as I think they do, I suggest amplifying the emotional impact of lessons in order to shorten the time needed to learn from them. Additionally, I really do suggest Shannon read "Something for Nothing" by Brian Tracy. It seems very much in line with his ideals. Hopefully it will provide some insights and clues into how to improve dmsi and create alpha male 7.

I'm starting to remember some of the insights I had while on AM 6. Must be the H/C.
It's crazy how a few realizations can change the course of your life. I can tell that if I keep on the path I'm going, things will improve. A lot of my faith in people, life, and the "grand scheme" has been restored. Part of that is definitely DMSI, but a lot of it is also the Tony Robbins and Brian Tracy books (along with many others). "Awaken the Giant Within" is great for personal change, but I don't think I could have made such a drastic shift in my thinking as I had today without reading "Something for Nothing: The All-Consuming Desire that Turns the American Dream into a Social Nightmare" by Brian Tracy. The man tells it like it is. I recommend it for sure. I'm about 1/4 of the way through and I'm still reading. Trying to finish it ASAP. EDIT: in fact, IMO, "Something for Nothing" should be required reading for the Alpha Male Program instead of "how to be an alpha male".

I'm about 1/2-3/4 done that book! :O
It's good, lacking in a few practical areas thus far, but I'm hopeful. Ultimately, the question (for me) is: How can I get everything I want without hurting anyone? The exact "how", as I said, hasn't come into focus yet, but it's been alluded to several times. ION, did some D2D this evening. I love sales. It makes things so simple. The results are favourable if you're doing things "right" and they're simply not favourable if you're not. "The Market" is the great mirror of your performance. There are varying degrees of that too. For example, tonight, everyone (nearly every door I knocked on) opened up and was friendly, engaging, but ultimately, not interested. It could be many things, I'm thinking I wasn't coming across as "the expert" (cause one guy asked for a card and when I tried to keep him in conversation he claimed his dog was "going berserk" when clearly the dog wasn't), however I did get some difficult questions from the 2nd last guy, which would indicate he thought I could answer them. Meaning: expert. Anyhow, much the same process needs to be done with DMSI. I'll add my ideas to the DMSI thread.

Internet is down. Typing this email n my phone.
Went to the library today. Hot milf working there helped me find something. She was wearing a tank top that exposed enough cleavave and top of her big breasts. Also, made strong EC with a woman there and immediately another woman walked past me then slowed right up as she got in front of me. Wish I could go into more detail but typing on the phone is ridiculous. |
