Overcoming Fear v4: The Special Case Files

I have noted that in cases of extreme fear, a person can potentially develop a number of skin issues. The specifics depend on the person, personality, physiology and fear, as well as what part of you is afraid, etc. But it's usually some sort of itchy skin condition. GF gets itchy welts sometimes, for example. For a long time, about 6-8 months ago, we couldn't figure out these welts because nothing helped them... not even maximum strength hydrocortisone cream. But we figured out what was happening when she finally broke through one of her biggest fears and they just magically disappeared almost literally overnight after two weeks of driving her crazy.

So it is a symptom that goes away as the fear is dealt with. You can think of it as your fearful subconscious trying to express its desperation not to face it's fear, and in some cases trying to get you to stop using the program. It's a relatively rare phenomenon, but if you ever get that symptom, it means you're one of those special cases with extra high fear at some level.

I definitely resonate with that Shannon. I used to drive myself crazy thinking of possible negative outcomes as a kid and young adult. This undoubtable made the fears grow into panic attacks. Thankfully I overcome a lot of that with the previous versions.

I've noticed that most of the spots are on my thighs and bladder. I wonder if that's a sign some kind of sexual fear is being worked on, being close to the genitals. In support of that I've also been going shirtless in order to get more vitamin D in me, which I've always shied away from, as I've always been self conscious about attracting attention to myself, especially female attention.

The spots themselves aren't anything major however. Just itchy raised bumps, so it might only be a minor fear right now. Anyway, enough speculation on my end.

End of Cycle #3

Overall a much better cycle. I'm ending it a day early so my ASRB is now 2 days on, 2 days off. I may reduce it again further if needed. But I'm happy with the results so far. Still get nervous smiling etc but it's not as overpowering as before. We shall see..

I've also noticed I've got some skin flaking on my hands and forearms. Same places both sides. It's not itchy but intriguing none the less.

Cycle #4 On #2

Still a bit anxious but feeling good overall. I'm going to be abandoning the earphone routine as I'm noticing I'm removing them at some point during my sleep, which could skewer the results.

I had a nice dream relating to sexuality last night which involved me attending a speed dating event. I didn't get to the table with all the participants but managed to get inside the venue, where I met the owner and went on a weird journey. Symbolically I think it was progress.

Reducing the cycle to 2:1.

Had trouble making eye contact with people today, so I'm taking that as a sign to reduce the off days further. If I'm still resisting after this I'll probably start increasing the loops, or increase the listening days from there.

EDIT: In fact, I'll probably start increasing the volume by +1 click up to two from the max or something, before I start increasing loops. Maybe volume > days on > loops?

I'm noticing that you're making all of these decisions from your conscious mind, instead of through AutoConfig.  Your conscious expectations are setting the pace.  I suggest that you hold where you are and see how it works for a while, instead of expecting instant results.  The harder you push, the more likely you are to get the reverse of what you want when it comes to a scared inner child.  Just because you had a fear response doesn't mean it isn't doing anything or working.  These things take time.

Cycle #5 On #2

Been pretty stable recently. No dreams last night but work girl keeps popping into my awareness which makes me feel sad. I'm sitting with these emotions now and just trying to feel them. Pretty consistantly now since I started OF I've been shedding tears in one form or another. Nothing dramatic, just tears. I ask myself how I'm feeling and go from there, offering forgiveness and consoling myself that we're all on different journeys. In fact, I've never been this forgiving before. I wonder if old programming from the emotional healing subliminals were blocked from fear. But I've also been evolving spiritually. So who knows.

Cycle #5 Off #1

Been emotional. Woke up and shed some more tears thinking of work girl, then it evolved into gratitude to (Rule 5?). Dreamt of another girl at work where we hugged, and dreamt that I had a shave. I looked on dream moods and it says:

"If you have a beard in real life, but dream that you are clean-shaven indicates a desire to reveal more of yourself. There is something that you want to say and you want to make sure it is expressed clearly."

Felt anxious this morning but I pushed through it and later on in the day I felt a lot more relaxed. Dreamt that there were armed intruders trying to break into my house. Otherwise uneventful.

Noticing I've gotten another itchy spot on my thigh. The other ones have gone. Another fear being dealt with? Also trying to fast more as I've read about it's positive effects. Feel hungry but I'm going to try and stick to it. Thinking about work girl still makes me sad, but I'm feeling through it.

Cycle #6 Off #1

More emotional releases. I just laid down and asked myself a number of questions. Work girl again had the strongest resonance so I probed my subconscious some more and the clearest answer I got was that I just want to be liked by her platonically. We went through a period of ignoring each other, which hurt me a lot. I apologized again to myself for treating her like that. I'm not sure if that'll help internally but we'll see. I guess I can only keep asking these questions to myself and see what it brings up. It felt cathartic at least.

Boy, I've never been this emotional before. Not even on past subliminals. I've always been blocked off from my emotions, all the way back. Hopefully I don't become hysterical, lol.
