I'm about two months into OGSF, and I'm finding that my motivation to pursue my goals is at an all-time low.
I was wondering if that is common or expected; my guess is that I would lose motivation if that motivation was fueled by such negative emotions.
That response is not common, but it is also not rare. There are two reasons for why it happens. One is the one you stated, and the other is hat as you get down to where the real issue that needs work is being worked on, your subconscious focuses more and more on fighting the process, and doesn't focus as much as it used to on other things. In other words, this would very likely indicate that you've arrived at what you set out to accomplish, and you are actually in the process of accomplishing the hard part of the goal.
In my experience, it is about 20% likely to be what you guessed, and about 80% likely to be what I stated.
