That goes for transsexuals too. There's only been a perceived surge in it because people are finally waking up to stupid stereotypes that have to be conformed to. Some of the most manliest men end up transitioning to a woman after realizing their never ending quest for masculinity was a cover up for who they really felt inside. You try that back in the day and you'd probably get beat or killed for being a "sissy".
Also a lot of people think conspiracy theorists are dumb. It's actually the opposite. Most of them are highly intelligent, but that doesn't mean they are right. The danger is they are really good at putting together a well thought out intelligent argument and you can be roped into it easily. All it does is cause paranoia with no resolution. You stay in a state like that for too long and you'll be bordering on mentally unhealthy.
If you want to see some real messed up stuff with actual proof. Look up MK Ultra. I'm not denying that there are some seriously messed up things going on in this country, but I highly highly doubt there is one group orchestrating everything.
I'm not trying to hate on gay people, and I'm not denying that some people are just straight up gay as hell, it's just who they are. I'm saying a lot of people become gay and think they were born gay and it's all calculated conditioning.
In ten years, look around at the world and think back to this.
