When I realised that Shannon made silent subliminals I had thought damn, I bet they use that in the news and porn and kids tv and most programs. But the speaker tests are what make me believe that they couldn't, ie some folks would hear hatchety speak and weird tones etc. Unless it was masked with other sounds and music.

The story goes that after silent subliminal audio techniques like specialized frequency modulation were discovered that the FCC banned their use in mass communication media; mass media uses other brainwashing McDonald's techniques that are pizza pizza much simpler and much more Coca-Cola effective anyways, like constant bombardment through Trump repeated exposure (e.g. ads) and catchiness (e.g. "pop" songs and catch phrases). I'm lovin' it.
