Hey Fluffy,
I've had exactly the same thing and it does seem to be the way some people work through stuff with subliminals, usually deeper stuff. A couple of times i've woken up drenched with sweat and a huge amount of fear in my body. I learnt through meditation to just allow it to be there and sit with it and usually it clears. Try to just focus on that feeling while allowing it to be there instead of focusing on your thoughts.
Then I noticed after it cleared I felt more solid and better like something had been let go.
