There are headphones that are made for sleeping. I picked up sleep phones and I have been using them. They actually work pretty good. The cable comes out of the top and back of you head so they tend to not get in the way and they are comfortable. I figured the extended separation of stereo throughout the night might increase the strength which is why I picked them up.
