Since then, my nervous system has been a lot more dysregulated than usual
At this point, it doesn’t take much to trigger a freeze response, due to how sensitive and dysregulated I’ve become. I’d really like to avoid repeating that experience with OGSFv3. I haven’t started it yet, but before I do, I’d like to ask: Do you think following the standard instructions with ultrasonic is safe for someone with a highly dysregulated nervous system, or would you suggest starting with masked, or making any other adjustments?
The shame and fear I carry run deep - they’re complex, layered, and deeply wired into my nervous system. I made a post about it here a while back post #1,810.
I have a therapist now, which I didnt have before, I’m hoping OGSFv3 can serve as a supplement to that. I’m just trying to be as careful as I can before I start, so I had to ask
OGSF is a 10 minute track that you're supposed to run at a volume of 2 out of 15 on an Android cell phone through the speakers. That's pretty gentle.
So far everyone who has run it seems to be getting good results, IIRC.
I think it should be fine for you.
