My 3 cents: the grounding shield is very effective for general protection, but sometimes the barrage of negativity (depending on your circumstances) may be too constant and too intense even for it to handle effectively (in my experience, it ended up as me having to commit heaps of my personal time to dissecting/analyzing negative ideas people were trying to influence me with, in order to not be influenced by them. It was a nuisance to say the least). That's when you need something more radical, like the DRS v2, because its reflective properties make the attacks potentially even *end altogether*. I'm also curious about the future Transmutative Absorption Shield and how it would work.
