Are you planning a Black Friday sale this year? That could move some dollars for that 1-3 month period that IML needs to get through.
My read on the mood is that most of us (at least the part of your client base who are on the forum) have taken on board the long-term ethos. Especially with the hype for AM 6G, E6 and OGSF have become more appealing. Frosted and Nomad have done a great job of articulating the benefits of these kinds of programs in their journals. I'm personally starting Month 6 of OF 5.9G. When you come from that mindset, it's not logical to switch to something like Laser Focus for a 1 or 2 month run.
I know it's not the best news, but on the bright side, you build a more happy and prosperous client base in the process.
Yes, we will be doing a Black Friday sale.
I don't mind having a happy and prosperous client base, that's my goal. It;s just that because of circumstances out of my control, the transition point between 5.11G and 6G has gotten out of whack for what I need to make it go smoothly. I know this will pass and we'll make it, but it's also important to do so with as little stress as possible, since as you can imagine, transitioning to 6G is rather stressful for me. Not only is it a matter of spending time on development and testing instead of building, it's also a matter of the Osbourne effect, which has set in because things have gone awry for reasons outside of my control.
This is the culmination of 13 years of work, and though I'm almost out of the tunnel, the work load to accomplish this is not insignificant, and neither are the expectations I have on my shoulders.
I'm currently working on finishing the Key Script for the 6G-Beta test title, and when that's finished I have to build it and start testing it, and immediately start building something else to sell.
I have some good ideas and you guys have offered some good ideas. We will figure it out.
