Currently using LTU v6 Hybrid Flac trickling stream stage 7 (having completed stages 1 - 6 prior) on cycle number 17 day 2 of 4 days on (4 days on + 4 days off per cycle).

1. How many days off are required before switching from LTU v6 to UMS v2

I suggest 2 to 4 weeks, as you judge according to what you experience of the bloom that results.

2. 4 months (16 cycles) of LTU v6 stage 7 have been completed thus far with 2 days on into cycle 17. Must cycle 20 of LTU v6 be completed (full 5 months), with required time off in between, before switching to UMS v2 or can LTU v6 be ended after cycle 17 (4 months, 1 week) of stage 7 is completed, if chosen? 

Stage 7 only needs a month of use.  You can start your process of switching whenever you like, but finish out whatever usage cycle you're currently in first.

3. Does the days off from LTU v6 Stage 7 count towards the days off in between subliminals? For example if, lets say 1 week (7 days) off is required before starting UMS v2, would that be:

a) Stage 7 LTU v6: 4 Days on + 4 days off + 3 Days off, (total 7 days off) then UMS v2 Stage 1... or,
b) Stage 7 LTU v6: 4 Days on + 4 days off + 7 Days off, (total 11 days off) then UMS v2 Stage 1... ?

If you do not wait and let yourself bloom between LTU and UMS, then you need to include the days off from the cycle you're currently doing.  If you take 2-4 weeks and allow the LTU to bloom, that is not necessary.

4. Will the momentum of the positive effects of LTU v6 be impeded or negated in anyway by switching to UMS v2 after the required days off in between subliminals? If not, would LTU v6 be at all, in some way(s) enhanced and both subliminals (LTU v6 and UMS v2) compliment or even build on each other (even somewhat similar to AM to WM/SM)?

The thought perspective would be the latter.

LTU is designed to be used long enough to make long term or permanent changes.  It may require more than run to do that, but you certainly did not hurt the chances of that happening by using Stage 7 for 4 months.  When you start UMS, it will shift your focus, but the program should be building on what LTU accomplished.  UMS effects will be most obvious, but it will not un-do whatever gains you made from LTU.  The "momentum" will shift to whatever has current focus, however.

How is "bloom" defined?

"Bloom" is what happens when you stop inputting the subliminal data and the resulting cycle that follows: Input, decode, process, store, execute.  Bloom is when your brain has nothing else to do besides execute, and the effects seem to surge as a result.
