The database is not damaged, no pieces are missing, or anything like that.
What happened was that the old data had to be formatted in such a way as to fit it into the new store. In some cases last names and phone numbers will now say N/A, whereas they were blank in the old store. This is because all fields had to have input in order to make the database migration work. Or in other words, if you r last name was blank in the old store, we had to put N/A instead to make it work.
Which brings me to the next topic - some of your orders are missing. That is not, as far as i'm best aware, a result of any data missing from the database. I believe it is a Shopify bug, or possibly related to certain products for some reason. I understand this is frustrating, and I really appreciate your feedback and understanding while we sort out these bugs. No release in the history has ever been free of bugs Just gotta find em and squash em.
I'm attempting to comb this thread for other bugs. I am taking your input into account even if I have not commented directly.
