I have been running masked the whole time (3 loops currently) and I am thinking about running hybrid format. How many loops would it be advised to start off with?

Each loop of hybrid is 2 loops of anything else. I suggest starting with 1 and increase if you feel the need.

So if 2 US is equal to 1 hybrid and I would prefer staying on US (as silent is my preference for sleep) then is it okay to do that since it seems so many are getting stronger effects and results from hybrid. I rather just increase my loops if the effects can be the same?

When I listen to ultrasonic, I play it through my phone speaker which sits on my bedside table.  When I listen to hybrid, I play the loops through earbuds. Keep this in mind when you read what I say next. 

Based on my listening practices, 1 hybrid loop > 2 ultrasonic loops. I can handle 5 days of 3 ultrasonic loops and could probably go even farther. This past cycle,  2 days of 3 hybrid loops has pretty well maxed out my brain's processing capacity.

Another factor (that I just thought of while typing) to consider is the amount of input being processed per unit of time. On the surface, it might seem as simple as 2x the input = 2x the output,  but the downstream effects of the 2x input at the same time could be 3x, 4x, 5x, etc. because of the level of urgency placed on the subconscious. 

In the end, whether it's because of anything I wrote above or not,  hybrid has been a completely different experience for me.

so you listening to 3 hybrids may not equal 5loops US but even more and you were able to do 5 days but then next time became 2 days possibly 3 so reduced due to the power.

Plus yes the output isnt proportional but could be somewhat exponential in growth so hybrid is far more powerful than US is the take away I think.
