I have seen that BASE help you focus on finding ways to create value for your customers and I know that UMS is not BASE, but still I've seen you saying that many people running UMS start their own businesses - therefore I'm wondering if UMS help you with the same focus on bringing value to your customers (I can't find the old product page so I can't reference it, but IIRC i couldn't see anything about this on the old product page).

UMS has no direct mention of starting a business or anything to do with customers at all.  It deals with creating and achieving Ultimate Monetary Success.  If bringing value to customers and starting a business would be your best way to achieve the program goals, and that's the path you choose to take, then that's what you'll end up doing according to the instructions in use.
